Just wanted to let everyone know our days of operation with the coming holidays! We will be closed starting Monday the 23rd and will be closed until Thursday the 26th. We will open back up as usual on Friday!! We will also be closed New Years Eve and Day. Thank you!!

Cracker Candy 🍬🍫

Ingredients:

40 saltine crackers (approximately one sleeve)
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts (pecans or almonds, optional)
Sea salt, for sprinkling (optional)

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper, ensuring it covers the sides. Spray lightly with non-stick spray.

Place the saltine crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, covering the entire bottom.

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently, and let it bubble for 3 minutes without stirring.

Pour the hot toffee evenly over the crackers, spreading gently with a spatula to cover them.
Bake in the preheated oven for 5 minutes, or until the toffee layer is bubbling.

Remove the baking sheet from the oven and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips over the bubbling toffee. Wait 2–3 minutes for the chocolate to soften, then spread evenly over the toffee layer.

Sprinkle chopped nuts or a light dusting of sea salt over the chocolate layer, if desired.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until fully set.

Once chilled, lift the foil or parchment paper out of the baking sheet and break the candy into irregular pieces.

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cooking Time: 5 minutes | Chill Time: 2 hours | Total Time: 2 hours 15 minutes
Kcal: 150 kcal per piece (approx.) | Servings: 20 pieces

Tips:
Use graham crackers or Ritz crackers for a different twist on this classic treat.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
