Your Saturday plans!

Another awesome weekend coming up, another special beer release!!! Come out tonight and have a beer with Steve as he runs the bar from 4pm to 10pm, but don't forget about our weekend coming up either:

Friday (4/12) all the stars align to make your evening a perfect one. Starting with a new beer release, we will be tapping "Solin", our Imperial Stout aged for 12 months in 6-year Willett Bourbon barrels, then rested a couple more months in maple syrup barrels from Tapped Maple Syrup! This beer will only be available on tap (no to-go) so get out here this weekend and enjoy some with us!

At 4pm The Argonaut Co. will be back doing what they do best- shucking oysters and making up lobster and shrimp rolls, and then at 730pm our pals Colleen & Jason are back to storm the stage with killer tunes and awesome hair as Echo and Ransom return to SKB!!!

Then on Saturday (4/13) we are open all day from noon to 11pm and will have the boys from Burn'n Bull back to serve up their delicious and varied menu starting at 5pm! Sandwiches, egg rolls, homemade chips, cookies, etc... trust us, you will leave here full and happy 😃

Okay, we know its gonna be a scorcher this week...
Hell, the heat index for Thurs is something like 110 degrees 🥵

But don't fret! Cuz the taproom at SKB is temp regulated and cooler than Lando Calrissian in January. Taproom is open normal hours on Weds & Thurs, and as the week progresses and things cool down outside, we have a great weekend ahead of you to pair with a fresh and tasty beer!

Come out on Friday afternoon 8/25, and celebrate the return of The Argonaut Co. as they hit the key at 4pm to serve up their usual selection of delectable lobster & shrimp rolls as well as freshly shucked raw oysters!

Then on Saturday evening 8/26, it's jazz night in the Den as we welcome The Tom Lowery Trio LIVE at Skeleton Key! Come dig into some smooth jazz by this fab 3-piece group, and listen along with us as they incorporate tastes of Funk, Latin & Rock into their sound! We even have our old pals from Burn'n Bull popping up in the Lounge with all your faves at 5pm to make sure you are fed before the show...

We said we'd spill the beans today; but the truth is, we'd already spilled them -- right into a keg of our Porter! Har har har ;) "Abracapocus," our vanilla-infused English Porter makes its triumphant return to the taps tonight at 4pm, right when we open.

This way, like a true adult, you can have dessert first, and then dive into dinner when Burn'n Bull posts up in the Lounge at 5pm!

We're open til 11pm, and this draft-only delight won't stick around forever, so enjoy it while you can!

Just in case ya forgot we are now OPEN on Monday nights to the public from 4 to 10pm (and it is Mugclub Monday so if ya have one, get out here and use those memberships!) and Adam is ready to serve ya up some beer and factoids!

This weekend we have the food wizards from Burn'n Bull here on Friday evening, and then on Saturday night we welcome those musical masterminds from Jukebox JBC back to the Den with a LIVE show to take all your song requests and help drain our Gufo kegs 😁

GET READY, cuz we are just 1 week away from our LIVE performance of The Spectral Silhouette Holiday Special! (Live Reading and Concert) at Skeleton Key! Next Thursday, December 15th, we have the talented folks from The Lightning Lounge as well as us boneheads from SKB bringing you EPISODE 4: LINK BY LINK.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to popularity, tickets will be required to attend! Tickets will cost $6 per person (plus tax/process fee) and will go on sale tomorrow (12/8) at 12pm to the public at the following link: www.skb.social/radio, and they will go fast!

Influenced by The Shadow, Green Hornet, and other radio programs from the '30s and '40s, this live show features a full voice cast, full band (The Black and Blue Hearts Ft. Colleen Wild and Jukebox JBC), and more.

Part Christmas Carol parody, part noir, this special has gangsters, thrills, ghosts, laughs, tunes; it’s perfect for the holiday season. We encourage our audience to dress for the period (1940s) if they feel so inclined.

For this holiday special, we'll also have Spectral Silhouette Christmas ornaments for sale to help support the show! 100% of proceeds from ticket sales and ornament sales go directly to the musicians, tech crew, and performers.

As previously mentioned, tickets are required to see the show on 12/15. The taproom opens at 4pm, so come by as early as you'd like, and once again our friends from Burn'n Bull will be here serving up some tasty grub before the show starts. We will begin seating promptly at 7, and the show will begin at 7:30pm. The bar will be open the whole time, so don't hesitate to grab a beer -- YOU deserve it!

Awakening from the mountain tops to descend on our taproom, Mountain King has arrived for his 2022 adventure at Miskatonic.

Mountain King is an aromatic symphony of tropical fruit. An intense citrus medley is bursting at the seams of this Hazy IPA. Look for popping notes of tart grapefruit, juicy tangerine, and guava. All perfectly balanced out by nice resiny piney hops.

This hazy is perfect for the chilly weather hitting us today. Warm up with a pint of Mountain King, or another one of our 11 on tap!

Burn'n Bull will be serving up dinner tonight in the taproom starting at 5p. Don’t forget the cookies!

Mangled Mona will be playing the taproom tonight to ease us into a relaxing weekend at 6p.

It's been a long time, but we are thrilled to be bringing back our friends from OUTspoken LGBTQ Stories to SKB for the first time since 2019!!! We will once again be trying to raise funds for Youth Outlook, the only not-for-profit agency in the western suburbs of Chicago solely dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ youth.

Join us one week from tonight (Tues. 11/15) as Archy Jamjun hosts 6 storytellers celebrating uniquely personal stories from across the LGBTQ community, plus our friend Cheryl Rodey to add some music into the mix! Taproom will open at 5pm, and Burn'n Bull will be onsite to serve up some tasty food before the music begins at 7, and the stories start at 730pm.
