Amy Sinclair transitioned into event planning via the world of philanthropy. She launched her career within the merchandising teams at Eileen Fisher and Perry Ellis, followed by 4.5 years working with the field sales team at Maybeliine NY on national sales meetings, incentive programs and trade shows. In 2005, Amy was fortunate to land a dream role on the events team at The Robin Hood Foundation.
Her next decade consisted of planning and executing some of the most innovative, inspiring and life-changing events in New York City. She and her team planned concerts for the Rolling Stones, Sting, Pearl Jam, John Mayer, Sheryl Crow, Maroon 5, the Black Eyed Peas as well as the historic 12-12-12 concert for Sandy Relief at Madison Square Garden. They also organized the annual Robin Hood Benefit, the biggest fundraising gala in New York City. Attended by over 4,000 guests each year, Amy and her team helped to raise millions of dollars to target poverty in New York City and the surrounding boroughs. She built her planning and logistics expertise at an organization that truly gave back to the most needy. In 2013, Amy, her husband and daughter moved north to Fairfield County, Connecticut. Since leaving New York City, she has worked with Michele Sinacore Events to plan multiple private events in the Fairfield County area including a 40th surprise birthday party with a special guest performance by Rob Thomas and with Moffly Media on their Best of Gold Coast Connecticut, Best of Greenwich and Stamford and Darien Best Bartender events. In 2015, Amy launched the annual Angelade fundraiser in her community benefiting Al's Angels to help raise funds to assist families with children living with cancer and rare blood diseases. In 2016, Amy launched her own Event Planning and Consulting company, Ray Ray CT Events. Amy is currently utilizing her background in events to assist the development team at Save the Children, and to plan seasonal trunk shows for up-and-coming small business owners in Fairfield County.
