Cracked, LLC, is an escape room business located in Weston, Wisconsin, just a couple short miles from Wausau. Customers to Cracked will be put in a theme-based room, and will have to solve challenging puzzles and codes to unlock locks and ultimately complete a mission. Problem solving, attention to detail, creativity, teamwork, time management, effective communication, and dedication are all skills that are necessary to successfully complete a room.
Our Rooms:
Ahoy buccaneers! The sun is shining, but turmoil plagues the crew. Our fearless captain has succumbed to scurvy and we have no gold, no gems, and no rum! Our flag cannot fly, for we can no longer sail the seas. A poor brood of pirates we be.
Though the captain rests with the sea, all hope is not lost for he has led us to Magic Island where but once-a-year the tide be high enough to make land. Now is our chance. Our crew must tread carefully; the island can offer riches, or a curse. But, no choice have we. Before the tide runs low, we must board this treacherous island, unveil its magic, collect its riches and fly our flag as pirates once more!
Owner’s Note: We went ALL OUT on this game! Scallywags is out biggest adventure ever. We focused on FUN and accommodating all ages. There is a ton to do and some great surprises in store. Let your hair down and patch your eye for a pirate adventure! We rate the difficulty of this room at 5/10 and the fun meter at 10. You will have a hard time finding a room more dynamic than Scallywags. The perfect size group is 4-10 players.
Not long ago, but long enough to forget, four brothers worked together to build hunting cabins deep in the Northern Wisconsin woods. For many Falls, these cabins were abuzz with activity. But time played its duteous role, and the cabins became a memory, a forgotten family heirloom. Although wilderness has claimed everything else, Cabin No. 4 remains.
Recently, the cabin was handed down from grandfather to grandson. With the passing of the grandfather, an evil was born. Though this cabin was once used to put food on the table, it is now used to feed a much, much darker hunger. A hunger laid in wait, until now.
With heroic effort, your team has forged through the wilderness and made your way into the cabin. As a storm rages outside, your team must unveil the sinister secrets inside. Thrilling, and spine-tingling, this room is NOT for the faint of heart. Can you and your team make it out in time… or at all?
Owners Note: Listen folks, keep the young’uns at home for this one! One Dark Night is our newest room and is tricky and sinister. Simply put there is A LOT to do! I rate it 7/10 for difficulty. The perfect size group is 4-8 players.
Your friends, Shane and Amanda set off on their annual camping trip to the great Northwoods of Wisconsin. They love to take this time to "unplug" and enjoy nature and the many outdoor activities that Wisconsin has to offer!
Days later, you have not heard from Shane or Amanda. People are starting to fear the worst.... You and your rescue team have forged into the wilderness and found their campsite. It's getting late into the evening, and upon arrival, something doesn't feel right. In this wild adventure, it is up to you and your team to discover the truth of Shane and Amanda's disappearance before time runs out.
Owners Note: What a WILD adventure! Secrets of the Woods is our fan favorite and is the perfect room for first timers and experienced players alike. There is a lot of puzzle to this adventure so you will need to stay busy to beat this room. I rate this room at 6/10 for difficulty. Secrets of the Woods will leave you with a thirst for more and is best played with 4-8 players.
The unthinkable has happened--the stakes could not be higher. As submariners aboard the USS-Dreadnaught, you and your crew must not fail your mission. A saboteur on-board has damaged vital support systems, and initiated the launch of three intercontinental ballistic missiles.
In this atomic adventure, you must repair Dreadnaught's support systems, and abort the nuclear launch before time runs out. Nuclear war and the lives of millions rest on your shoulders.
Owners Note: Dreadnaught is like nothing you have experienced. This room is shockingly different and offers a “wow” factor that you will not soon forget. We built this room in part to show off some of our technical skills in puzzle design. This room has some very unique puzzles. It isn't easy. I rate this room 8/10 for difficulty. It is best played with 4-6 players.

Can Families Play?
YES!
We strive to accommodate families as much as possible. Children as young as 9 years old play at Cracked with their families, and have a BLAST. Nevertheless, rooms are designed to challenge adults. If you have players under the age of 15 years old, you must book into a fully open game. You cannot "join a group" but must select an open game with a green "book now" button. Moreover, an adult must be present in a game in the game if there are players under 15. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of your game without refund. You can double check that your game is not booked by others by viewing that the availability if fully open. As an example: a room with a maximum capacity of 10 will show 10/10 available.
Please understand that this policy is to your benefit as we will ensure your game is not paired with another group which may be inappropriate for younger players, like a bachelor party or a group of friends out on the town.
Those ages 15 through 17 will need a liable adult to sign the waiver on their behalf.
Our escape rooms will primarily be targeted toward the 15-65+ age range. Those ages 15 through 17 will need a guardian representative to sign the waiver. If you have a player under 15 years old, your game must be booked into a fully open room. You can tell if a room is fully open by viewing the availability, and if the room shows a green “book now” button. If the rooms shows a yellow “join a group” button, that means you cannot book your game with players under 15 years old into that game.
For games with player under the ages 15, please keep in mind that the room may include:
-Darkness
-Items that are out of reach
-Advanced logic puzzles
-"Dark" story lines
-Flashing lights and loud noises
What Ages are Appropriate?
15 through 17 years:
Ages 17 and under need a liable adult to sign the waiver on their behalf.
9 through 14 years:
We don't think you and your adult friends should be locked in a room with someone else's kids. Likewise, your kids shouldn't be locked in a room with a bachelor party. For reasons like these, if there are players under the age of 15, your game must be booked into a fully open game.
If you are considering Cracked for a party or friends night out, please consider that rooms are designed to challenge and entertain teenagers and adults of all ages. Each room has its own unique twist that may make it more or less ideal for younger players. Please read the room descriptions thoroughly to see which one would best fit your group. Age 12-13 is the right time to introduce a group of players to the escape room experience!
9 and under:
While a 9 year old may have a BLAST playing in the room with their family members, they may not be a major contributor in puzzle solving efforts.... and you will want to wait until they are 12 or 13 before bringing a group of their friends.
What Should I Wear?
You will be moving around, possibly crawling on your hands and knees at times. Wear something comfortable. Most people prefer jeans. You will not need to bring anything with you, and there will be a basket for personal belongings in each room to hold your purses, wallets, cell phones, keys, etc.
What are the rules?
Every Game Has Its Rules-- We want our escape rooms to be a fun, challenging, and safe experience for everyone involved. Your Game Master will tell you everything you need to know before your game.
________________________________________________________________ Game Masters reserve the right to terminate the game if players do not follow the rules, and are destructive or otherwise dangerous. Players will not be rewarded a refund in this event. Cracked reserves the right to charge the card on file for egregious and intentional damages. (example: kicking in a door, punching a wall, smashing a prop)
When should I show up?
Please arrive 5 minutes prior to scheduled booking to sign waivers and to get briefed before game play. We do not refund cancellations/no shows, and rescheduling your booking MUST be done at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment.
