We offer a rustically elegant backdrop for your wedding, reception, party, reunion or corporate event. We are a mother daughter duo, Kate Parsons and Christy Shafer. We offer beautiful garden weddings in Kate’s English style garden which sits next to a field that is either planted in corn or soybeans (both are gorgeous!). Then we have an open air structure up there, the lattice house, where you ca
n host your cocktail hour. Afterwards, down to our beautiful reception hall for dinner and dancing. The space is what we like to call rustically elegant. It features lots of chandeliers, vintage white columns, upholstered burlap walls, and feature walls made of old vintage painted doors and another of old ceiling tins. We also have a chalk wall that you can customize. We mixed in a 10’ zinc topped industrial table for our buffet table. And in the front sitting area a Chesterfield sofa and club chairs. The building sits on 78 acres next door to Kate's antebellum home. The original farm and home were named Locust Grove. We are able to accommodate a sit down dinner of up to 200 people. We have a 20X30 stained concrete patio for you and your guests to enjoy. There is a bar made from the front of an old confessional booth, burlap upholstered walls, chandeliers, old columns, lots of wonderful details to make your event special. We have an open catering policy (pick whoever you like!). Our catering kitchen is quite large, garage door load in to make it easy (caterers love it), ice machine, commercial fridge, warmer and work space. Tables and white padded folding chairs, linens for all the guest tables, 150 colored napkins of your choice, lots of free decor, and some coordination services come with the rental of the facility.
