Melissa and Dane’s September 18, 2021 Wedding in Southport. I think this is my favorite bridal bouquet to-date that Cyrus has created (except of course for my own xo). The location was breathtaking and matched the young couple’s elegant style. + photographer was the PERFECT choice. 😁

The tomato garden this year was grown from seeds, that I planted inside end of February and then moved in pots outside under a portable greenhouse top. 🍅👍🏻 Note: My goal is for this site to become focused on our Flowerfall Weddings. 🌸 Around the Home & Garden will be moving to my other Instagram page. It’s going to be more of my own gardening log, so you might tire of seeing too many photos of potatoes, kitties and Cyrus and I goofing around! just a heads-up👋🏻 Julie xo

🌺 Check out my dahlias in Redding this Summer and Fall! I transplanted a very small dahlia bush from my Uncle’s property to my garden last year, and this plant holds a lot of sentimental value for me. I dug them up at the end of season and placed the tubers in a brown bag with a little dirt and put them in the basement. When we started planting our seeds indoors Feb/ March I put the tubers in a bucket of dirt and split them and let them grow under the grow lights. I was going to start new ones and never had a chance. I just planted the two separate dahlias in the ground early May. The photos don’t show the size of the wall of dahlias that exploded in my garden and they are still going today! It must be 9’ x 9’. Cyrus and I can’t wait to plant many varieties. 🌺❤️ Move over tomatoes 🍅? 😂👩🏼‍🌾👨🏼‍🌾
