This is a post about table numbers. I know this is probably not at the top of your list of things to worry about. Lol But bear with me.

As a wedding designer I have a strong opinion about table numbers. I follow many wedding sites & have seen gorgeous centerpieces out shadowed by table numbers. The table numbers are almost as large as the beautiful centerpiece you were dreaming of.

I know you need to be able to see the table number but they do not have to 5” x 7”. And, how can I say this without offending your venue? Don’t use the table numbers your venue offers you. They are always generic and large and will take away from your well thought out, gorgeous centerpiece.

There are so many options, from creating a table number that complements your design to wooden numbers in script …. The objective is to be able to see the number but to also have that number be part of your overall design. Thanks for listening!

Sharing beautiful details from Abbie & Carl’s wedding Sunday morning. When we first met, Abbie knew exactly what she wanted her wedding to look like. We were honored to work with Abbie and to make her vision come to life. From her memory ladder to the generational windows, to her classic colors of green & white, to her beautiful hand-lettered signs & special touches throughout, this was a beautifully thought out design. A classic Bittersweet Farm wedding ….. greens & baby’s breath, rustic and fun personal touches with a wine barrel top guest books and succulent favors that were the es**rt cards too. And many candles … Never underestimate the power of candlelight to create magic.

Details ….. butterflies are special to Nancy and she wanted them to be a part of her celebration so we incorporated them in subtle, elegant ways. From the gold butterfly place cards that looked like they landed on the champagne glass to small butterflies that were used as napkin ties to the ones that appeared in the graphics.
I loved the “happily ever Johnson” sign and who doesn’t love a candy favor - his & her favorite candy.

When I started working with Nancy + Bryan she had a vision for the sweetheart table but it wasn’t this. It was more rustic, which was fine, but then I asked to see her invitation and then she showed me a picture of her cake and everything changed.

Centerpieces we did for a sweet baby shower this past weekend….love that they went a little non traditional….as they wanted to give them away.

A few more details …. Shepard’s hooks formed an aisle to the ceremony honoring the memory of those in heaven who could not be there in person. The chairs were set up in 2 semi-circles - creating a more intimate seating arrangement. There were rustic doors for guests to enter and then closed until Dawn was ready to walk down the aisle. And, the guest book was an old fashioned phone, which those of us of a certain age will remember. Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs!!!

Yesterday was all about this beautiful couple’s wedding. I think one of the things I like most about weddings is that they are so personal. Incorporating details that only you and your guests will understand and sharing a peek into what makes your love story so special.
This wedding truly reflected their love story. Dawn poured her heart and soul into every detail of her wedding - from the centerpieces to the bouquets to all the decor to a very cool guest book.
We were honored to help make their vision a realty. A few more pictures to follow.
