Sissy Lou's would like to send a special shout out to my cousin Jennifer Garza Pena for letting us use the Mach’s parking lot for the fundraiser today. Also to my cousin Nikki Rodriguez and Aunt Pat Garza (who says she doesn’t know how to add me as a friend, Jen can you please help her🤦🏻‍♀️) for the baked goods donation. We were truly blessed with all the people who turned out today. 💕💕

Words can’t express the hurt I feel in my heart right now and the hurt I feel for my cousins and my uncle during this time. My Aunt Sandra Gangstad was a very private person but loved her family with everything she had and most of all, she was a servant of God. I have the fondest memories of my aunt. She was my ride along partner for late night lottery ticket runs. She knew if daddy called her and told her to be ready, well it meant just that. We would turn down her road and there she would be waiting by the driveway. We would pick her and grandma up and hit every store in Boling to buy tickets. She knew my favorite food to eat was tacos, she would send me random I love you messages and said she loved to see pictures of the boys and I traveling on our adventures. While my heart is sad, I’m happy knowing she is home with God and her loved ones. Aunt Sandy, please give daddy, grandma, grandpa and Aunt Stella a hug for me and I know my grandma Nancy will be right there beside them. Don’t worry about anything. We will be fine here. Just know I love you and will hold a place in my heart for you until we meet again. Fly with the Angels Aunt Sandy. I love you. 💕

I have to remind myself that God continues to bless my family and myself every day we open our eyes. I also have to understand that everyone who comes through our doors of our business may not do so with the best intentions and that is okay. What they need to understand is that I bake for a HOBBY and because it makes my customers happy and at the end of the day, that is what matters most to me. I bake with love in my heart and if others gain profit from that then my job is done here. I have a medical background, not a baking background, but God has put it in my heart to bake and I will continue to do so. So bake on my lovely peeps 🧁🧁❤️
