Last weekend was perfect. The weather, the couple, the family. It all was so perfect. Grant and Kylee are the absolute sweetest and their day was beautiful. I have had so much fun getting to know them throughout the process of planning their day. They are always smiling and the love they have for one another radiates throughout the room.

Perhaps my favorite part of the process, is seeing our couples after the ceremony when all of the planning is complete and the reception has started. When everyone is relaxed and enjoying each others company. My vision for The Meadow is to be a place that love grows and couples can look back on their time with us with joy and fond memories to last a lifetime. Ahhhh, where do we start with this one?! What a fun couple and family❤️ This day was stunning and the attention to detail was impeccable. Kaitlyn had a vision and brought it to life perfectly. From their favorite food truck, to personalized ice cubes floating in pretty signature drinks, a live artist, gorgeous live flowers everywhere and so much more. This was not only a beautiful celebration but a blast as well!

And after the celebration (per the brides request) we arranged the flowers in several vases and delivered to a local long term care facility in order to brighten the day of the residents. This is always an option for our couples that utilize live flowers and it really was appreciated by the residents☺️

We wish Brayden and Katie many many years of love and laughter❤️

May 2024 has proven to be a wonderful wedding month❤️ with all weekends this month booked for beautiful celebrations, it makes us excited for events to come!

May 2025 has only one more Saturday open! Our hearts are so full of gratitude for our sweet couples!

As we reflect on our first wedding of this busy wedding season, we are still in awe❤️This wedding was absolutely beautiful and so much fun. Nathan and Taylor are beautiful inside and out and their families are equally as sweet. Every detail was stunning and we are so thankful they chose to have their big day at The Meadow. Here’s to many many years of love and happiness for this sweet couple!

We are in the process of compiling a handbook for our couples. This will be provided to them when they book at The Meadow.

The guide will provide couples information in regard to the venue and I would love to include as much information as possible regarding local wedding vendors. This is open to any and all wedding vendors that service our area. Please feel free to tag local vendors as well! We want to provide our clients with as much information as possible.

We are also in need of information regarding local Air BNB and other overnight accommodations.

I want to highlight some of the amenities we have to offer at The Meadow. This week I will post some of the things that can help make your day a bit easier and some things that we think are just fun!

We have two separate dressing rooms both with full bathrooms, coffee/snack bars and plenty of seating, mirrors and outlets. The windows are fully tinted for privacy but allow ample natural lighting for prefect photographs. Each room is located in its own hallway with separate entrances as well😊

Memories made before the ceremony are so much fun as everyone spends the day dressing for the occasion. The suites make for beautiful photos of that time spent together to cherish for years to come❤️

Our covered patio is a perfect ceremony space. Connected to the main venue, the patio shields guests from sun and rain and gives peace of mind knowing that there is a “built in backup plan” on your big day. With multiple entry options, the wedding party can enter the ceremony without being in the weather if needed.

The patio also overlooks the rolling hills of the farm, a gorgeous ceremony backdrop❤️ When the ceremony is over, the patio can be transformed into a dance area, bar space or just an spot for guests to visit and make great memories together.

Today my heart is so full. Full of thankfulness and love for everyone that has helped us turn a dream into reality. Our family and friends are amazing and I am so thankful for everyone that has supported us and our crazy ideas. I am thankful for the community as well and everyone that has reached out with words of encouragement and support.

Our open house was so much fun and we appreciate everyone that took to time to stop by.
We can't wait to be a part of each couple's big day and help them make the best memories to remanence for years to come'

The Meadow at Wheelers Mill Wedding and Event Venue is climate controlled and perfect for weddings year round. An added bonus is that weddings in January-March are offered at a discounted rate!

I can’t wait to see stone fireplace as a beautiful backdrop for Winter nuptials.

It has been a busy week at The Meadow at Wheelers Mill Wedding and Event Venue . We are so thankful for family and friends that feel like family that have helped us get so much accomplished this week! We could have never done it without them❤️ it was all hands on deck and even the little ones helped to get some major projects completed. We have been blessed beyond measure!

This week, we primed and painted the walls and ceilings, buffed and cleaned the floors in preparation to seal them, pressure washed the patio, porch and sidewalks, and cleaned and cleaned and cleaned some more. Shew! It was a busy week, but so fulfilling to see the fruits of our labor. The coffered ceiling and fireplace have given the main area the elegant feel we were hoping for. Once the mantle is finished it will be perfect. We still have a lot to finish, but we are making progress every day and getting more and more thrilled for our future couples.

I will be at the venue tomororw (Sunday May 21) meeting with couples and have a few time slots open if anyone is interested in scheduling a time to come check it out!
