On this day in April 2006, the UACCNJ Charter Document was signed between the Parish of St. John the Baptist, the Archeparchy of Philadelphia, and our Ukrainian organizations in the Morris County and surrounding areas. Just one year later we celebrated the grand opening of the Cultural Center in Whippany that remains the focal gathering point of the Ukrainian community to this day. Thank you to all the visionaries and participants in this picture who together made the UACCNJ a reality

Join us THIS SATURDAY, April 12, for an Inspiring Event of Art and Advocacy!

The nonprofit organization Ukrainian New Wave, in collaboration with the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA), is excited to present a cultural tour featuring the artistic team of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade. They will perform the powerful theatrical piece “Not Born for War”, aimed at advancing advocacy efforts and securing international support for Ukraine’s sovereignty.

Through this production, audiences will hear the personal stories of Ukrainian defenders who courageously protect the frontlines of democracy. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to support Ukraine and experience the resilience and spirit of its people through art. We look forward to seeing you there!

The play will be performed in Ukrainian with English subtitles.
