We are seeking actors for the world premiere of Ashti's Journey to Jazz coming to the Hanifl Performing Arts Center this July! Actors 3rd grade and older and invited to audition for a variety of adult and student roles.

The story is about a middle schooler (Ashti) who lives in the city and has learned that she is losing her beloved Jazz teacher because of a lack of school funding. The story takes the audience on a musical journey of learning about the importance of music through the history lessons of Jazz roots taught by some CRAZY jazz birds with impeccable comedic timing. Thomasina Petrus stars Mrs. Robinson, the music teacher!
