**A Sacred Union**

In the quiet shade of moonlit night,
Where stars above held hands so tight,

💃🏼🪩🕺🏻5 TIPS FOR GETTING WEDDING GUESTS ON THE DANCE FLOOR 🕺🏻🪩💃🏼

1. be the dance floor hype team! If you’re not out there bustin’ a move, neither will your guests. 👯‍♀️ they want to be where you are. let your enthusiasm be contagious. (bonus tip: enlist the help of your wedding party for this task!)

2. your band/dj choice matters. find a musical team who reads the room & keeps the party movin’. give them your fav genres & must-play songs, but trust them to work their magic ✨

3. know your crowd. play music your guests will love. 💕 if you’re unsure, ask for song requests on your invitations or rsvp cards. personalize it & make it a party they won’t forget!

4. let the music flow! plan your reception so the formalities are short, sweet, and close together to avoid interrupting peak dance time. work with your dj/band for a seamless flow that keeps ppl groovin’ all night🎶🎶

5. set the mood! ✨ fairy lights & uplighting > harsh fluorescents. disco balls optional (but highly recommended). a spacious dance floor is key, & maybe some flip flops for tired feet (especially those killer heels)

Their eyes met mine as they scanned the playpen full of me and my siblings. I wagged my tail, but not too much because I’m a good boy.

Wow, was she beautiful!

And him, well, he smelled like a good boy too!

As she knelt down, I jumped into her arms and gave all the kisses I’d been holding in.

I promised to make them laugh.
I promised to be loyal.
I promised to keep her safe.
I rescued my humans that day.

My humans told me their names were mom and dad.
Weird.

I also noticed that if I follow mom around the house, sometimes she gives me sweet potatoes and blueberries.

But I think dad is more like me because when mom goes for a run, we like to take our time and enjoy the smells.

And nothing beats sitting shotgun with the both of them right next to me on our way to our next adventure.

But today Momma came home and showed me the ring!
Dad is changing moms last name to ours!
I think that means that we get to be together forever!!!

I hope this doesn’t mean I’m getting a little brother or sister.

Artists can be perceived as unorganized or unprepared. But with us, that’s not the case.

From bridesmaid to bride-to-be, Morgan and Anthony saw Cassidy and I in action at her best friends wedding and knew right away she wanted us as her wedding photographers one day.

So, clearly, we have some big shoes to fill as a lot of our clients follow us on social media long before they even know they’re getting married.

On our initial call with Morgan, she told the story about how she got engaged at the courthouse in Angola, Indiana. It’s been a special place for her because that’s where her grandmother got married. We instantly suggested the courthouse for engagement photos and they loved the idea. After reviewing their personal inspo and listening to their wedding hopes and dreams, I put together a list of prompts to help create that safe space for these special moments to happen naturally.

The biggest thing I stress on shoot day is to truly just be in the moment over with your partner and let the love you have for each other just radiate!! And if you think it’s too much PDA, it’s not enough! 🤩

earth day may be over, but there’s no timeline on celebrating the world around us🤍 heres to enjoying and honoring this beautiful planet with the ones we love! 💗

🌎sustainable invitations: look for companies that print on recycled paper and give back to the environment as apart of their mission, or skip paper all together and opt for electronic RSVPs and/or invitations.

🌎avoid single-use products: like dishes/utensils/packaging as much as possible!

🌎source local: source locally grown food or flowers (or grow your own!)

🌎rethink favors: save on waste by opting for plants or edible favors, or save money by foregoing them all together

🌎rent: rent what you can or buy gently used wedding decor on fb marketplace or wedding resale groups!
