The UIL math and science teams attended a UIL meet at Callisburg this past Saturday. Here are the results:

In number sense Jeremy Krause placed second.

In calculator Jeremy Krause placed second.

In mathematics, Whitesboro was the second place team. Jeremy Kruase was second, Bryce Thompson was fifth and Luke McAdoo was eighth.

In science, Jeremy Krause placed third, Bryce Thompson placed eighth and had the top physics score, and Lydia Calderon was ninth.

At this point, Jeremy Krause has qualified to go to state TMSCA in Number Sense, Calculator and Science. Luke McAdoo and Caden Brehm have qualified in Science.

Want to be comfy as you take your finals? Support the annual FBLA Christmas Food Drive Blitz and you can. From Monday the 2nd to Tuesday the 10th, FBLA will be collecting non-perishable food donations for the community. Bring ten items to Mr. Simmons in room 302, and you will be allowed to wear pajamas every day of the three-day final week. Again, all donations can be dropped off in room 302 daily during the drive."

On Wednesday, November 13th the Whitesboro FFA took 31 (that's exactly 20% of those enrolled in ag) students to compete in the District 3 FFA Leadership Development Events held at Bells High School. Special thank you to Gabbert for driving the crazy train (yellow bus) and staying until the results were called, we love a CDL queen! The results are as follows:

Some of these events are individual and some are teams, but it takes a village to make it happen. The ag department — Robert Mathews, Marileigh McCall, and myself — would like to thank you all for your support and flexibility over the last few weeks. We're having fun, enjoying the , and building more than just good equipment out in this shop!

Saturday, after 6 hours of debate, Emily Cogburn won the Regional bronze medal and will compete for a state championship the first week of January in Austin! Teammate Ada Pierson won 4th and is the state alternate!

The team was amazing and worked impressively all day together. This isn't an event a "team" can win, but without your team, you won't win! So we count this as a Bearcat Congress Team victory!
