I’ve had it with the grade school bu****it. . .

Here’s the deal:

I just had someone call me “on the brides behalf” complaining and demanding a/c to be installed by September 25 (3 weeks from now) or they weren’t going to pay for the venue and go elsewhere. Then hung up on me because they didn’t like what I had to say after I was accused of “just saying” we are going to install a/c to get the brides business?!!?!!
After speaking with the bride, the bride doesn’t know this person, or the phone # associated with the caller or knowledge that anyone was calling on her behalf!!

IT IS NO SECRET THAT THERE ISN’T ANY A/C IN THE VENUE!!
We don’t force anyone to book our venue, hell we don’t even advertise it other than our FB page and we sure as hell don’t lie to bring folks in let’s make that VERY CLEAR !!!

Our venue was built over 30 years ago. It wasn’t built with the intention of using it for a venue. It was built as a working barn with horse stalls and gravel floor. WE LIVE IN TEXAS!!! Some couples are just plain country and don’t care, some couples prefer to go elsewhere. Either way, we tell ALL of our couples up front and it is THEIR choice and THEIR choice only.

It is a CONTINUOUS work in progress (that Mr. Hart & I do OURSELVES) to get the venue where we want it when OUR BUDGET allows it and not to mention all the outdoor maintenance and weddings we do in between as well and our couples know this.

Couples that married here 2 years ago, even last year for that matter didn’t have all the upgrades the venue has now and couples that marry here in the next year will have even more upgrades than the couples that are marrying now.

Do I like being in the heat HELL NO I DON’T which is why we don’t look to book events from late June through middle of September but we will do it for the couple and if you think it’s hot sitting on your ass as a guest, try working your ass off in it !!

We just paid over $10,000 to spray foam the ceiling and insulate the walls and we are currently waiting on all the a/c installation quotes to come in so we can move forward so YES, WE ARE IN THE PROCESS and unless you have $30 to $40 thousand dollars hanging out of your ass to give us TODAY for the a/c installation to be installed by September 25th, STAY IN YOUR LANE!!

***THIS IS A LONG ONE, BUT WAY OVER DUE ***

I’ve had several bring to my attention something we realized was happening and going to happen over 3 years ago.

We appreciate your concerns but let us reassure that we are not the bit offended and take it as a compliment to have so much interest in OUR talent, OUR ideas and OUR name.

For future reference, to all those out there future, present and past. .
you don’t have to pretend to be interested in our venue for your “birthday party” or pretend to be planning a wedding so you can come out and take pictures or find out what our packages and prices are.
We are an open book. Hell, we have tons of videos and pictures on our page for the world to see. Rest easy knowing we are not interested in a competition. We are extremely busy and don’t have time for games.

My late father in law, His sweat and tears along side my husband’s built this ranch from the ground up over 30 yrs ago. You cannot duplicate that.

GARY HART had a vision, a dream to have a place where friends and family could gather and enjoy. He started that dream but unfortunately, he passed away June 11, 2011 before he had the chance to see it come to pass.
We were Blessed with building our home here and exactly 8 yrs to the day after his passing, on June 11, 2019 we closed on it. Not planned by us but it happened that way.
The venue came to be 2 years later. Again, Unplanned on cur part, It just happened. You cannot duplicate that!

If you have met with us at anytime since the venue came to be, you already know we are honest God fearing folk and not ashamed of it! You have heard me say this time and time again. “We believe, the venue was meant to be, from day 1 over 30 yrs ago when the property was purchased. Events took place that brought our venue to be. Jeff and I have individual talents that cannot be explain other than it is God given and together with the team we were also Blessed with, it is mind blowing. We are beyond Blessed and we want to give back” You cannot duplicate that!

We are not in the “venue” business for the $$ or for the competition which is why I refuse to do those wedding expos. We don’t advertise other than on our page, we don’t have time for it, we don’t care for it. Word of mouth has been our way since the 70’s and will continue to be period! God has a plan for certain events or meetings in people's lives.
Our God given talent and the venue is our way of given back what we have been Bleesed with. We have met a lot of couples that we have been fortunate to Bless in one way or another. THAT IS WHY WE DO IT! You cannot duplicate that!

My late father in law “ GARY HART“ may not be here to see it but he is resting in peace looking down on the venue and seeing what he started come to life 🙏🏻 You can not duplicate that!

We won’t always understand why people do the things they do but In the “HART” household, We pray over things we don’t understand or agree with and move on peacefully knowing we have God in our corner. DUPLICATE THAT!!

We had a such a restful wonderful getaway celebrating mothers day, our anniversary, and my birthday traveling with some close friends to Miami, Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao ❤️

5 mins after arriving home, we changed clothes and to the shop we go until 10:30 last night to fix a belt that broke on the mower the night before we left so I could get up bright and early and start mowing to get ready for our next wedding 🙈 ❤️ Lol
We call it a Blessing and are excited to get back to you!!

I started answering emails, text messages, and voicemails in date and time order. If you have not heard from me yet, please know I will get to you soon 😘
