We are honored to be the venue for so many unique and amazing events held each year. Empty Bowls is a really special one and we love how they utilized the full building for their layout. It's always so much fun watching your events come to life and we love getting to be a part of it!

✨ A few photos from yesterday’s Art Fusion reception at the Kemp Center for the Arts!✨

A huge thank-you to all the artists for sharing such exceptional work and an extra shoutout to Burial tattoo, where every artist from the studio contributed to the show.

The photos hardly capture the full impact, this is a show that really needs to be seen in person. You can experience Art Fusion in the West End Gallery at The Kemp through December 13th.

Applications are open NOW for the Texas Commission on the Arts Young Masters program!

Young Masters is a joint initiative that provides exemplary Texas student artists in grades 8-11 with the financial help they need to pursue advanced study in the areas of visual arts, literary arts, music, theater, dance, musical theater, folk arts, and media arts.

The state’s most talented young artists will receive the title of “Young Master” and be awarded grants of $5,000 per year to further their studies in their respective disciplines, all before college. Students are eligible to receive the grant for two years, but they must submit a report and an update. The students selected for this program will represent the 13th class of Young Masters, which is generously supported by the Butler Texas Young Masters Endowment. To date, the Trust and TCA have given 431 grants to 199 Young Masters, awarding more than $1.3 million.

For the past several years, we have had a rotating community gallery space in the entry of the Maplewood Laser Dental Clinic office. Through our connection with Lamar D. Fain College of Fine Arts student, Grace Ainsworth, we have been able to exclusively feature Midwestern State University students and highlight their artwork.

Next time you are driving down Maplewood Ave and have a few minutes to see some really cool artwork, stop in and check it out! Next up is photography by Alex Swearingin.

📚✨ Help Us Build a Tiny World of Wonder! ✨🎨
We're raising funds to install a Free Little Library — but not just any little library! Think: a mini art gallery meets a community book nook. This magical box will be filled with books for all ages AND tiny art to surprise, inspire, and delight everyone who passes by.

And here's the coolest part: this new Little Library will live outside the Kemp Center for the Arts — which was the original public library of Wichita Falls! How perfect is that? We're bringing books back to their historic home, with a creative twist.

We need your help to bring it to life! Whether you donate $5 or $50, you’re helping to spark curiosity, creativity, and community joy.
💸 Donate here 👉 artscouncilwf.org/DONATION
Every dollar gets us closer to a library full of stories and tiny surprises — right where it all began.

If you haven’t been by The Forum in while, we invite you to stop in and take a look! Over the last several years, we have been committed to improving the space by enhancing accessibility and functionality, while preserving its historical integrity. This year, through gracious community support, we were able to put in additional lighting around the perimeter of the building and entrance, and also increased lighting options in the Auditorium. Last year, we cleaned up the flower beds and made improvements to the landscaping. Next up, a new bridal suite and meeting space that will be available very soon!

We are so thankful for those who choose to support us and host their events here, and we look forward to many more events in the future. 🤍

2027 will mark 100 years of this incredible building and we can’t wait to celebrate it!
