We are thrilled to announce Duffy Fortner Clark , Ink Master Veteran from Red Octopus Tattoos & Body Piercing as our judge.

Duffy is a second-generation tattoo artist, following in the footsteps of her mother who was the first. Their family-owned shop, established in 1992, has remained under their management since its inception. Duffy has two decades of tattoo experience.

Celebrating the artistry and history of the American Traditional tattoo, the Sacred Art exhibit will feature 100 paintings by tattoo artists from across the United States. Each artist creates their unique interpretation of one of the most iconic symbols found in tattooing: the Sacred Heart. Working with identical foundation panels, each artist provides a deeper look at this popular iconography.

Exhibit dates will be December 20, 2024 to March 1, 2025 at the Kemp Center for the Arts!

Artzeum: Fish Fun! is happening Friday, July 19th at the Kemp! Join us and Inland Fisheries Wichita Falls District - Texas Parks and Wildlife for some free outdoor activities {in the morning, while it's cool!} and learn a little more about fish, make some art, and enjoy an icy cold shaved ice!

Activities include:
10:00AM - 10:30AM
• TPWD Fish Stock Truck
See how they bring big batches of live fish to the lakes of Wichita Falls
10:30AM - 11:30AM
• TPWD Touch A Fish
The TPWD Fish Guys will scoop out some fish from the stock truck so you can learn more, up close and personal.
• The Wichita Theatre Meet A Mermaid
Have you ever wanted to meet a mermaid? Our friends at the Wichita Theatre know some and they'll be stopping in to visit.
• Arts Council WF Art Activities
We'll also have several art activities for kids to enjoy so bring your creativity...plus special guest appearance by Kona Ice of NW Texoma

The ACWF and juror Josh Williams of Factory City Tattoo will review portfolios for consideration and selected selected tattoo artists can create a new piece of artwork on a provided sacred heart birch
panel.

A new Call For Entry is now live! Celebrating the artistry and history of the American Traditional tattoo, the Sacred Art exhibit will feature 100 paintings by tattoo artists from across the United States. Each artist creates their unique interpretation of one of the most iconic symbols found in tattooing: the Sacred Heart. Steeped in history, both religious and visual, this symbol transcends the traditional to provide a broad canvas for multiple interpretations by visual artists.

Working with identical foundation panels, each artist provides a deeper look at this popular iconography.

Tickets are on sale now for the 2024 Perfect Pair: A Food & Drink Affair! Join us for a curated dining experience where we pair four local chefs and restaurants with a wine and beer pairing, brought to you from regional wineries and breweries.

We will also have an interactive painting demonstration, a silent auction and, other fun art activities happening during the evening! This fundraiser supports our FREE arts education opportunities like Studio Saturday, Art on the Go, and Art In Transition that happen in the Wichita Falls community and beyond.

Participating chefs, wineries and breweries will be announced soon.
