Having a day of coordinator is not just someone that answers questions so you don’t have to. They set your table just the way you visioned it in your mind. They make sure the ceremony site is just right. They walk around and touch each chair so that when you walk in the room it’s perfect. They’ll greet each vendor, making sure they are settled and have everything they need to successfully do their job.

Potential clients almost always ask me “what do you do on the day of a wedding?” I typically respond with, “well that depends on the client’s needs” but the truth is we do EVERYTHING.

Getting married is supposed to be the best time your life. You shouldn't have to be stressed while planning or on the day of your wedding. Having a coordinator helps you enjoy all the planning you've done! Wouldn't it be nice to actually ENJOY your wedding day??

This pricing was created for the pandemic couple. Being a pandemic bride, there was nothing worse than having to cancel anything for the day of your wedding let alone finding a new venue so far into planning. If you are a couple of the Winslet, have a signed contract from them, and do not already have a coordinator, then this pricing is specifically for you!!

I wanted to take some time to talk about the packages we offer at Awen Vera. My hope is to give perspective clients a better understanding of what each package has and can offer you for your wedding day. Big City Slickers is our biggest package and gets you exclusivity the weekend of your wedding! Meaning we aren't scheduling another event on your wedding weekend. You have full access to Awen Vera and anything we have to offer. This package is everything you need all in one. Awen Vera is here to help your family plan any parties associated with your wedding as well. It could be a bridal shower, engagement party, bachelor/bachelorette parties, etc. It's important that we press that this package is anything you need so not everything is always listed because each couple has different needs. Big City gives access to you, your fiancé, and anyone to deem necessary 24/7 access to Awen Vera. That means if there is a relative driving you CRAZY, you can just send them to ME! We don’t time out how long we are available and working the weekend of your wedding. This means we could be there for two days working and it doesn’t matter. When you are looking a packages with Awen Vera and coordination in general you will find that how many hours that are worked is a common denominator. This package eliminates that and gives you free range to use Awen Vera however you see fit. The intension with any package you choose is that it fits for what is best for you and whatever your needs are.

With Big City, Awen Vera sets up and attends all vendor meetings throughout your wedding planning process. We can run correspondence for you via text,call, or email so that you and your fiancé can watch information, quotes, and details come in without having to do the leg work. Don’t go on Facebook and ask “does anyone know a good photographer that is reasonably priced?” You’ll be overwhelmed with the response. Just let your coordinator do it for you.

I want to thank everyone who stopped by our booth over the weekend. It is on my heart how overwhelming the expo is for everyone who is planning their wedding and trying to enjoy being engaged.

If you missed my Q&A I wanted to recap: the first two things you should do when you’re starting to plan your wedding is make a preliminary guest list. You never know how many of your dad’s friends he’d like to invite. 🤪 The other is talk about your budget!! You need to talk to your parents (if they are planning on being involved in paying for your wedding). You need to talk to your fiancé. Financial conversations can be uncomfortable but the two of you will have these conversations throughout your marriage.

The third is: enjoy being engaged. Go to dinner and don’t talk about the wedding. You’ll only be engaged once and it’s the smallest length of time you’re given any title. You’ll never be a girlfriend again and you’ll be a wife/husband/mother/father going forward. Enjoy this little phase of life. It goes by so fast!

2nd Annual Friendsgiving
Thankful for everyone who helped make it possible and all those who came last night! Here is my speech from last night for those of you who couldn’t make it.

If you’re here tonight odds are you are exhausted. This season has torn you down, devoured you, spit you out, and all the while built you back up. Even if it’s just enough to be here with us tonight. So let me start by telling you Thank You for being here. This night is for you. Thank you for the long nights in front of your computer and tapping the screen of your cell phone before you finally get some sleep.

If we have not met my name is Regina and I am the owner and operator of Awen Vera Events a planning and coordination company. I am one of the sponsors for this evening. It is my honor and privilege to present you with this evening.

Each of us starts our contract with a meeting with a prospective client. We dive into their hopes and dreams their budget or lack there of. We often bend over backwards to give each couple what they so desperately hope to get on their wedding day. This may come at a toll to ourselves, our family time, our mental health, and most especially our work life balance. We do it all for our clients. We each go out each weekend and do our best to present our best foot forward. Most importantly and the reason we are here tonight. We do it together because each of us share that couple in the meeting with their hopes and dreams.
