I had the pleasure of planning the 2022 Fall Fling, it took place last weekend at the beautiful Hand house. I had a great team to work with on this party, Julie did fantastic on decor and Colleen laid out a beautiful grazing table. Hey everyone! So, what is "day of" event management anyway?
Well, "day of" is a little misleading. There's always at least some work outside of the actual event. But it's usually just a few chats here and there.
This weekend I worked a wedding at the beautiful Hudson event venue downtown.
My day looked like showing up at the church around noon to make sure everything was in place - the guest book, the gift table - and then a little assistance making sure things started on time.
Then I headed to the event venue, table centerpieces in tow, to get everything looking lovely before the newlyweds and guests arrived.
I also met vendors, double checked that everything was perfect and even made sure the lights were turned down just so.
In a nutshell, I'm a jack of most trades who will do all the little things that add up to a fantastic event.
I don't just do weddings, I've planned entire galas, family picnics, movie nights, golf tournaments and Christmas parties. Basically, a little bit of everything!
