There’s no slowing down with tulip season! We’ve been harvesting about 200 tulips a day for the past few days and now the daffodils are going crazy! Restock coming to the site Thursday for pickups and deliveries for the weekend! New colors will be posted to the website soon!

Hey there! I’ve noticed a lot of new faces around here so I think it’s about time I introduce myself again! I’m Emilee - I’m a mama, a wife, and a little flower obsessed. I’m in healthcare operations full-time and truly passionate about what I do, but I also have a love for flower farming and floristry.

What started as a fun little hobby turned into something bigger. The idea of Fiori & Co. started in 2022 with a vision to share; I wanted to grow sustainable, organically grown flowers that are not only breathtakingly beautiful, but would also not harm the environment. I wanted to share with others that joy that I get when I receive flowers, and not just any flowers, but flowers that you can’t always get in a grocery store. If you know me, you know I like unique and different things in life. Often times, I would get flowers from a grocery store or other big box store and they didn’t give me that “wow factor”. They didn’t have a long vase life, were usually artificially colored, and they all looked the same. I knew there was a better option!

I strive to bring fresh, unique blooms that last longer and even better - are locally grown and harvested. I plant each seed, bulb, and tuber by hand and care for each plant alongside Mother Nature from start to finish. During our season, flowers are harvested daily to give you the longest lasting blooms. All of our flowers are seasonal and our season usually runs from March through October.

Every flower is carefully tended to and thoughtfully picked by me (and sometimes my biggest helper, Collins) so I can ensure you’re getting nothing but the best! I am so happy you’re here on this journey with me 🌼

This colorful, custom arrangement got me out of my comfort zone, but I’m here for it 🌼 give me all the color this summer!!

A closer look at this gem from yesterday 🌞 Flower recipe includes ‘Autumn Touch’ amaranthus, Feverfew, ‘Cherry Rose’ snapdragons, ‘Queen Lime Orange & Red’ and ‘Dawn Creek’ zinnias, ‘Terracotta’ celosia, and ‘Purity’ cosmos!

Zinnia season is right around the corner! These beauties are so easy to grow, but there is a right time and a wrong time to harvest in order to maximize vase life!

Snapdragons were started on 2/4 and germinated almost instantly! It still blows my mind how such a tiny, tiny seed turns into something so beautiful! I’m working with the Potomac variety this year and can’t wait to see these gorgeous blooms 🤩

I’ve been better about updating our Instagram, but this is from back in November when we (Collins and I 😂) planted 500 tulips and daffodils… sounds like a lot, but it truly isn’t and especially for cut flower purposes. My body hated me after deciding to do a hand dug trench method, but spring Emilee will love me! We didn’t offer tulips or daffodils last year and I have really special varieties that I promise you can’t find in grocery stores! We’re getting closer 🌷
