We have some wonderful wedding vendors here in Wichita, and it’s always a nice show.
We have to be honest here, we were just too busy to participate in the Wichita Bridal Expo. We had four brides come in on Saturday and say yes to the dress!

We love these Olympic love stories.
It turns out that 2024 Olympian Stephen Nedoroscik -everyone’s favorite new Superman has already found his Louis Lane with former gymnast Tess McCracken.
The Penn State college sweethearts have been together 8 years.
Stephen wrote- “To my beautiful cheerleader .mccracken I couldn't have done it without you ❤️ I love you.”
He went on to say this:
"Four years ago l had my entire collegiate experience ahead of me," he wrote following their 2020 graduation, marking their Fourth of July anniversary. "Little did I know I had already found my favorite part about college."

Simone married her husband Jonathan Owens in a private ceremony last April, and then had another ceremony a few weeks later in Mexico. Look how absolutely beautiful and stunning she looked!

A wedding dress mystery…. An Iowa woman is searching for a bride after finding a wedding dress in a ditch along the highway just fluffing around in the wind.
Denise Gannon and her husband were driving along Highway 144 in Iowa when they spotted the dress next to the road. Hopefully it will make it’s way back to the owner.
Maybe they should take the story to TikTok - they find everyone over there lol.

Sarah Dill and Cade Wessel met the first day of sixth grade and developed a wonderful friendship.
By the time the couple were seniors in high school in 2018, they began dating.
Cade Wessel made a bet under his high school year book photo. He said- “$20 I will marry Sarah Dill.”
He didn’t just bet on it - he manifested it!
The couple were married a few months ago in Florida - and Cade did indeed win his $20 bet.

Not sure how we feel about this one…. Bride and groom Laine and Robert Parland hid the wedding rings under the chairs of the guests. The person that found the rings under their chair was the random ring bearer.
A novel idea for sure lol!

Wouldn’t it be fun if wedding cookie tables became a tradition in our part of the country?
Because who doesn’t love cookies??
It’s such a sweet way for family and friends to show love to the couple.
The wedding cookie table was born during the Depression in the ’30s among European immigrants in the Pittsburgh area. Wedding cakes were expensive, so family and friends of the bride and groom stepped in and baked wonderful cookies.
They are still a staple of wedding receptions in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Youngstown, Ohio, and surrounding areas.
Lady lucks, kolachi, pizzelles, peanut butter blossoms, biscotti, snickerdoodles, cream horns, buckeyes and more grace these amazing cookie tables.
