Our Story
Our family’s restaurant group, Latour, has its roots in a love for good food. That love was introduced to Wichita 40 years ago with the opening of the Olive Tree, which is widely credited with introducing the city to world-class dinning.
In 2016, Two Olives opened as the newest branch the Latour restaurant family -- and like its fellow establishments, it's blazing trails. The "two olives" are actually us - two sisters, Joumana and Randa, who have side-by-side for most of their lives, in many of Wichita’s break-through restaurants.
Two Olives pays homage to our roots. Our family grew up in a Mediterranean culture that viewed everyday meals as an opportunity to find peace and happiness with friends and family. Meals are also an opportunity to celebrate life to the fullest. Food is the epicenter of this culture, and the guiding principle can be described as "Eat to live, Eat to celebrate"
We set the stage for you to break away from the chaos, and find happiness in everyday meals, regardless of the occasion. This is why we offer diverse experiences for dinner, lunch, and brunch. Our chef-owners design every menu, with full freedom to express their true style and creativity. The ingredients are carefully sourced, and could be hand-picked from a local farmers market, imported from a foreign country, or simply selected from one of our favorite producers.
