NEW COLLAB! 💛🍕🍔

We are excited to announce a new partnership with WSU Dining in overseeing the grill area of our operation! With this collaboration, a new menu will be offered starting Monday, Aug 5. We’re excited to offer new food and beverage options in one of WSU’s favorite spots! 🤩🥗🥤

In order to make the transition happen, the grill area of the Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes will be closed Wednesday, July 31 – Saturday, August 3. You can still visit for some bowling or billiards during this time, though! 🎳🎱

Last week, we had the honor of catering the annual employee luncheon at .

Our chefs meticulously crafted each plate to be easily described to guests who are blind or have low vision. Our front-of-house staff diligently set every plate with the chicken facing 6 o’clock to ensure that when described, all items were in the same place for all guests. This careful attention to detail reflects our continued partnership with Envision and our shared commitment to accessibility in culinary excellences and beyond.

Happy Mother’s Day from Chartwells’ Catering!

This year we’d like to honor the mothers who lead our team at Wichita State. We asked; “What has being a mother taught you about leadership?”

Jamie our Senior Director said, “Being a mom taught me that I had to learn to adapt more than you expected to plans not always going as I have planned, have an extra level of patience I didn’t know I needed, but also that the love of your child is the best feeling ever! ”

Natalie Doom, our Catering Director said “Empathy. Recognizing that all our team members have different needs, concerns, and aspirations. Creating a nurturing environment where all our employees feel valued and understood.“

As well as Dominique Howard a Catering Supervisor said “Being a positive role model. Being consistent in every aspect.“

Last week our catering team collaborated with Wichita's Habitat for Humanity in the Air Capital Build. It was a very windy day but they were able to provide all of the volunteers with lunch this day.

We love collaborating and giving back to the community through great food and making people happy.
