Having fun trying new things!

I asked AI to help me write a Nerdy Nuptials Wedding Script with references to Doctor Who, Firefly, and The Librarians. It definitely needs some tuning, and maybe less name drops, but check it out as a starting point for your own script!

"[Opening]

Officiant: Friends and family, we gather today to celebrate the union of [Partner 1] and [Partner 2]. In this vast and wondrous universe, they have found each other and chosen to embark on a shared journey. Today, we come together to witness the promises they make and the love they celebrate.

I get asked a lot, "What makes you nerdy?"

I never feel like I had a great answer for it. Sometimes, I talk about our custom scripts. Sometimes I share my fandoms and ways people can add their interests into their ceremony and not just the decorations. Sometimes, I talk about how I research wedding officiant ideas and weird wedding traditions for fun.

Today, I figured out the right answer. The thing that makes me "nerdy" is my ability, desire, and motivation to make an Ironman inspired handfasting cord.

I was so glad to meet many amazing couples at the Wichita Bridal Expo. As a new vendor, I was amazed by the number of people who loved our mission to create custom wedding ceremonies and were excited to see my little business grow.
