Guns N’ Roses ft Elton John, MTV Music Video Awards, 1992

The song was a tribute to Elton John's influence on the band, particularly his 1973 album Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding. Axl Rose of Guns N' Roses had said that he wanted the song to be a grand piece of music to pay homage to John.
