Meet Michele!

Michele Haunschild is the Bridge Inspection Team Lead and inspects all 600 of Sedgwick County’s bridge length structures and reports her findings to KDOT. She has worked for Sedgwick County for 21 years in the Public Works department. She has been married to her husband for 14 years and has a 10 year old son. Michele enjoys spending time with her family, growing her vegetable garden, preserving food, cooking and traveling around Kansas. She loves to crack jokes and laugh as much as possible and enjoy meeting new people.

Meet Mary Ann!

Mary Ann Amador works in Information Technology (IT-BSG) as a GIS Analyst. She’s been with the county for 12 years, and on the Board for a few years. She likes to play disc golf, ride long distances on her e-bike, hike and do any outdoor sport, except fishing. She enjoys time with her family, friends and her best friend Duke. She also enjoys movies, trying new cuisine (restaurants), cultural events, adult events and more. Almost forgot to mention that she is very fun to be around!!! Her favorite part of being on the ACE board is to see the happy faces of the member in any events ACE offers or the excitement when the favorite event is offered.

Meet Kelly!

Kelly Shively has been serving on the ACE board this go-around since 2019; she took a hiatus in 2016 after serving on the board and as secretary for 6 years prior. Kelly has been with Sedgwick County for 14 years spending her first 9 years serving at the Health Department and the last 5 years at COMCARE. Kelly is a Program Manager for the Children’s Service program. She enjoys taking her children to all the great family events that ACE offers, taking advantage of the consignment sales, and keeping her fingers and toes crossed tight when there’s a giveaway to be had!

Meet Katie A.!

Katie Asbury is a newer member of ACE. She works at the Regional Forensic Science Center as the Forensic Administrator and has been with the county since 2019. Katie likes to attend shows and family events and loves that she gets to see explore Wichita through the events that ACE offers. Her favorite parts of the ACE board are making county-wide connections and planning fun activities!

Meet Julie!

Julie Eckels has been working with Sedgwick County Department of Corrections for 26 years. She is currently located at Adult Field Services. She has been on the ACE board for several years. Her favorite events are the sporting events, family events, haunted houses, concerts and the list can go on and on. Her favorite thing about being on the Ace board is coming up with new ideas for the members.

Meet Jamie!

Jamie Tyson is an Executive Officer for the Department of Corrections. She has been with the county for 8 years, but with the DOC for 5 months. This is her second time serving on the ACE board, she is very excited for the upcoming 2022 year. She has one son who is about to turn 9 years old. She enjoys the ACE events that she can take her son to, as well as the events that allow her to have grown up time! She enjoys coming up with fun new events for the ACE community to enjoy!

Meet Danielle!

Danielle Butler has been with Sedgwick County COMCARE for 21 years and an ACE Member since she started. She is married and has two daughters age 12 and 18. She really enjoys the savings and variety of events that ACE has to offer. It has really given her family and herself a chance to experience different things that they normally wouldn’t have tried! She is one of the newest board members so she is still trying to get used to everything - but she really likes working together as a group to come up with new, creative, activities for our members.

Meet Brandi!

Brandi Alliman works at the Sedgwick County Health Department as a Nurse Coordinator for Healthy Babies. She has been with the county for 1 year. She is a recent addition to our ACE Board this year. She is so excited to be a part of the board. She is married and has 3 children that are 5, 4, and 2 years of age. She is currently a Girl Scout leader for her oldest daughter. She loves to participate in the entertainment, crafts, and other events that ACE has to offer. She is excited to find more events for date nights and family friendly events that are new and fun!

Meet Sage!

Sage Brown is the current Social Media Chair of ACE. She works in the Tag office as a Title Clerk. She’s been with the county for almost 3 years, and just joined the Board. She likes to go to the art and spooky events, and enjoys helping members find events to do with their friends and family. Her favorite part of being on the ACE board is the other board members making each meeting fun and seeing how dedicated everyone is towards the county.

Meet Theresa!

Theresa Penick is the current Membership Chair of ACE. She has been with the County for almost 7.5 years, working at the Sedgwick County Jail as an Office Specialist for the Sheriff’s Office. She has been on the ACE Board for 4 years. Theresa likes to talk and make jokes, even if she is the only one who laughs at them. She greatly enjoys the different varieties of events that ACE hosts and loves being on the ACE Board.
