Our Girls Empowerment Group embraces the diverse experiences and perspectives that come with having members aged 10-18. Here’s how it works:

Age-Appropriate Activities: We design activities and discussions that are engaging and relevant across the age spectrum. This might include:
Team-building games: Fun for all ages, fostering cooperation and communication.
Skill-sharing: Older girls can share their talents (art, music, etc.) with younger members.
Open discussions: Topics are tailored to be relatable to all, and there are opportunities for small group discussions or age-based breakout sessions.
Mentorship in Action:
Natural Role Models: Older girls are positive role models for younger members, demonstrating confidence, kindness, and leadership.
Skill-Building Opportunities: Older girls learn valuable mentoring skills like patience, empathy, and effective communication.

As parents, you want the very best for your daughters—someone to encourage them, help them navigate challenges, and remind them of their unique worth. This is my passion and my purpose, and it’s also deeply tied to this month’s theme: responsibility.

Growing up, I experienced what it feels like to be misunderstood and unsupported by those in leadership roles who were supposed to guide me. As a teenager, I turned to a youth group leader during a critical time in my life, hoping for mentorship and encouragement. Instead, I was left feeling judged, excluded, and as though I didn’t belong. That experience taught me the power leaders have to either build someone up or tear them down—and how important it is to take responsibility for the impact we have on others.

This realization shaped my purpose and my passion. It became clear to me that I have a responsibility to ensure no young girl feels the way I once did. This is why I’ve dedicated my life to helping young girls find their voice, build confidence, and understand their unique worth.

Some parents ask if this group is religious-based. While faith has been a foundational part of my personal journey, this group is not focused on religion. Instead, I aim to create a space where every girl feels welcome, no matter her background or beliefs. My focus is on teaching life skills and character traits—like responsibility, resilience, and compassion—that will serve them well throughout their lives.

Responsibility is about more than just doing what’s expected. It’s about recognizing the impact of our actions on others, being accountable for our choices, and understanding how we can positively contribute to the world. I encourage the girls to reflect on how they can take responsibility for their own growth and how their actions can support and uplift those around them.

Thank you for trusting me to be a part of your daughter’s journey. It’s a privilege and a responsibility I take seriously, and it’s a joy to watch these young girls grow into strong, capable young ladies. Together, let’s help them embrace responsibility and shine brightly in their unique ways!

Hi Tweens 2 Teens Families!

To keep everyone safe, we will not have class tonight. We hope everyone stays warm and cozy!

If you’re looking for fun activities to keep the kids entertained indoors, here are a couple of ideas:

🎲 DIY Game Night
Have the girls create their own board game using paper, markers, and small objects as game pieces. It’s a great way to spark creativity and have some laughs as a family.

📜 Scavenger Hunt
Set up an indoor scavenger hunt with items like a red sock, a family photo, or something fuzzy. You can even include challenges like “Do 10 jumping jacks” or “Sing your favorite song.”

📖 Story Chain
Start a story by saying one sentence, then let each family member add a sentence to keep it going. See where the story takes you!
