The one where I photographed half a wedding on a knee scooter 👀

My heart is full with gratitude towards Jessica & Craig. For nearly 2 years, they worked on planning the most amazing wedding and 7 weeks before they say “I do”, their photographer had to go ahead and break her leg (yup, me).

Did they panic? Nope. They were so gracious and patient with me. EVEN WHEN I wouldn’t know if I could physically be at their wedding until 4 days prior. Thankfully, I was able to show up for a few hours & I had an amazing team backing me. Huge shoutout goes to Ben from for being on standby for the day and Grant from for putting up with an unorthodox situation & being cool with taking over as lead photo for the reception.

The amazing team did not stop there though! Heather from and Chastity of .feather.events were a life saver. Truly, not only were everyone rockstars helping me out but also made Jessica & Craig’s day absolutely perfect!!! I am just sad I didn’t get to stay longer, I heard DJ absolutely killed it!!!

Congratulations to Jessica & Craig, we are so thrilled you get to call each other husband & wife!!! 🩷

Think you need a second photographer to get different angles of your ceremony? Well, I am here to tell you that you most definitely do not! 90% of the wedding I book, I do solo and I am always able to get some creative angles if the venue allows for it.

As much as I love my second photographers (please don’t hate me you guys, I really do love working with you!!) I usually tell my couples that it is unnecessary. I am busy little bee on weddings days and I enjoy running around like a psycho. So if you book me, please rest assured that I have your back as a solo photographer 😘

P.S. give Kayla and Brandon some love here! Their ceremony was definitely one for the memory books. There was laughter, tears, and public declarations of handsomeness. This couple is 🔥 and I am so happy for them!

Twenty photos isn’t even close to enough for Emily & Alex’s big day. I’ve been so impressed by this couple. It has been one of my great honors to watch their family grow and witness their intense love for their son. So so SO many well deserved happy tears have been shed at this wedding and I suspect there will be millions more in their lifetime to come. Congratulations Emily & Alex! Adorable couple alert! 🚨

Eden and Alejandro’s engagement session is exactly why I love my job. I’ve said it over and over again, I GET it. Going outside your comfort zone and getting in front of a camera can make the best of us nervous. Eden hinted at dealing with some nerves and I ensured her that 20 mins into our session, she will feel looser and get the hang of it. Without fail, there we were playing with their pups and I could tell they settled in and let the magic take over. We ended up having the best time exploring Madison’s downtown and playing with the glorious sunshine! Their love and beautiful relationship is palpable and I am so lucky to be the photog who gets to document this special time in their lives!

Don’t miss out on milestone photos just because the camera is intimidating, just find a photographer that is a goofball and lets you find your comfort zone in your own time 😘

When talking about my love for photography, I think it is clear that I have complex emotions around the art. I love the mechanics of it, the artistry, the left and right brained moments complied into something magical. The pure joy and amazement when I find that “one” perfect, day defining, photo- that is a feeling that is not easy to convey or replicate. I love the constant learning and building. And for a long time, I loved to keep it to myself. This passion, I wasn’t ready to share with the world but now through portraits and weddings I have found a whole new aspect to why I love photography and that is capturing those beautiful moments of you, the subject, interacting with your loved ones. Photography is an intimate art and I always walk away from a shoot feeling like I have experienced something special.
