A heartfelt thank you to our dear friends who stepped in to help, and to our partner ranch in Ramona, .sd, for deploying their livestock trailer and hosting most of our animals. Evacuating so many takes time, and we’re grateful that almost all are safe. A few are still with us, and we’ll be ready when the time comes. It’s always best to stay ahead of it and be safe. Heed the warnings and stay prepared! 💚🐄

Our livestock are desensitized, well-trained, and love interacting with guests. By adopting out our animals, we’re sharing the joy and responsibility of farm care with others who are as passionate about animal welfare as we are. What a wonderful Mother's Day retreat we had at Howe Ranch! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for an afternoon of mindfulness surrounded by animal love. Your presence made it truly special.
We spent the day embracing tranquility—enjoying cow hugs, donkey cuddles, goat yoga, and having bunnies and chicks cozy up in our laps. Our mindfulness activities were accompanied by sketching, journaling, affirmations, and inspiring conversations. And the farm-fresh herb-infused tea and fancy cupcakes were a hit!
Cooling off in the pool was the perfect finish to our stress-free retreat. Thank you for the care, joy, and relaxation shared. Here are some of our favorite moments from the day.
