🌟 About Presley Barker:
Presley Barker, a talented singer/songwriter from the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, has been wowing audiences with his guitar skills and soulful voice since the age of seven. He has appeared on the “NBC Today Show” with Al Roker and NBC’s “Little Big Shots” with Steve Harvey. In 2018, Country Music Hall of Fame member Ricky Skaggs invited Presley to play at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN. At just 10 years old, he released his first solo album, “JUST-TEN,” and has since released two country singles, “Middle of Somewhere” and “Time Machine,” produced by Dolly Parton’s producer in Nashville. Most recently, Presley was seen on season 19 of “American Idol.”

Last night, we closed out the 2023-2024 season with the sensational "This is the 60's Live" show. The band was phenomenal, bringing the 60's to life with popular songs from each year, dazzling costume changes, and vibrant multimedia displays. It was a historical tour from start to finish, filled with song, dance, and pure nostalgia!

We were honored to have Dr. Rodgers, the new President of Wilkes Community College, welcoming guests. Presley Barker and Tabitha Hudler introduced the Lakey Ballroom Series, a new series of shows added to the 2024-2025 season.
