Flora is a family farm that focuses on growing cut flowers and flower seeds. We select highly desirable cultivars that are prized by brides and designers; we harvest our cut flowers at their peak beauty; we are always on the look-out for unusual and new varieties; and we enjoy the shared creative process of growing a particular flower crop with our clients in mind.

There’s so much going on in this bouquet, it deserves a few different views. I love plants and combining 15-20 types of botanicals in bridal bouquets is my norm because, why not? Mother Nature is rich in diversity so let’s see some of that complexity take shape in a unique seasonal expression! Here and I teamed up for our A Year in Color Project which highlights botanicals that are also good dye plants. Beauty, fragrance, pigment, and creativity! Yes please!

Hey there Southern Oregon.

Wouldn't your life be better if you had that little bit of beauty to turn to on your table, desk or to gift to others this Summer? I know that my life is enriched daily by the beauty that surrounds me, and I hope that you might share in this floral abundance with me.

Sign up now for a weekly bouquet subscription (CSA Share) from Flora Farm & Design Studio. Flowers are certified organic, grown in Williams, and are a gorgeous combination of 15-20 stems of flowers and foliage that vary over the course of the season, but that include Summer favorites like peonies, lilies, sunflowers and dahlias.

There are 3 options for the Summer:

Full Share- This spans the entire Summer from June-September and you get to enjoy the seasonal changes as we move from warm to hot to warm/cool days and see the diversity and variation that 4 months of summer blooms can look like. Full Share Members also receive the deepest discount on weekly bouquets for making the 17-18 week commitment.

Summer Month-by-Month- If you travel in the summer and know that you'll be gone for some time, you can sign up for the individual months of June, July, August and September. That way you are still getting your flower fix, but don't have to worry about making alternative arrangements if you are going to be out of town.

Dahlia Share- For four fantastic weeks, you will bask in the radiance of these Queens of Summer. I provide exquisite bouquets each week of 10-12 stems of our decorative, ball, lotus-flowers, pompon and fimbriated dahlias. Some folks add this on to their Full Share to get an extra dose of dahlias; others opt for this choice for the month of September.

All CSA Members receive a discount on weekly bouquets for making the commitment to the farm for your chosen period of time. Summer mixed bouquets would typically sell for $18 and Dahlia bouquets would retail for $ 22-25. As in years past, pick-up bouquets in Grants Pass (Partake Shop, Lounge & Dine), Provolt (Whistling Duck Farm Store), and at the farm in Williams on Tuesdays. Pick-up bouquets in Jacksonville (Jefferson Farm Kitchen) on Thursdays. Businesses in Grants Pass and Jacksonville within ½ mile of the drop-off locations receive free delivery.

Hope to be growing flowers for you this Summer! Please reach out to me if you have any questions.

Hi folks. Did you know that you can make custom orders from Flora Farm and Design Studio in Williams, OR instead of going to the grocery store or retail florist for special occasions and everyday flowers? For example, right now, I am accepting orders for bunches of ranunculus, tulips, anemones, or mixed bouquets, and can accommodate your needs most days of the week. I even do OVERNIGHT SHIPPING ANYWHERE IN THE CONTINENTAL US. Check out the details on my website: https://www.weddingflora.com/shop

Flowers can be picked up at the farm in Williams or we can sometimes meet you in town (Provolt, Murphy, and Grants Pass on Tuesdays; Applegate, Ruch, Jacksonville on Thursdays) when we're already delivering to weekly CSA subscription members or stores. Minimum orders start at $20 and delivery to town on different days can be added on for a fee.

Thanks for supporting local, organic agriculture in the Applegate Valley!

Are you that special Mom or Caregiver who would love some flower TLC? Or, do you have someone that you'd like to honor with flowers this upcoming Mother's Day, May 12th? Well, I've got you covered! Pre-order your shipped flowers now. I offer overnight delivery via FedEx to locations throughout the mainland US. For shipped flowers, check out our Mixed Bouquets https://www.weddingflora.com/shop-all/mixed-bouquets and consider dressing up the bouquet by adding-on a vase to your order.

Southern Oregon Locals: choose from mixed bouquets or, for a more refined, artistic experience, chose a Vase Arrangement https://www.weddingflora.com/shop-all/mothers-day-arrangements. Vase arrangements also transport well (you don't have to worry about dripping stems that will dry out when you drive them away from the pick-up location). We'll be delivering into Ruch, Jacksonville, Medford and Ashland on 5/9. Deliveries to Grants Pass, Murphy, Applegate and Williams will take place on 5/11. Or, you can also pick up at the farm on 5/11 and save yourself the delivery fee.

Get flowers this season from a farmer whose name you know! And if you can't get them from me, support another organic farmer in your local area. There's no need for chemically-dipped and grown imported flowers on this holiday as flower farmers are rockin' it throughout the US.

For more information, contact me and thanks for supporting our small family farm.

Just took a big load of beauty to . As a long-time member of the co-op I’ve always admired and benefited from (as an eater) the ways that they support local farms. I’m happy to be contributing now to expanding the amount of local flowers available, both in terms of winter/early spring options and in terms of volume throughout the year.

I’m also supplying in this way, and love how both stores prioritize organic and local, because, hey, we all drink this water, our children inherit this soil, and the wildlife of this beautiful bioregion depend on us stewarding these lands responsibly so that we all can live healthfully and happily.

I’m delighted to be pictured here with Katie, the floral buyer behind the scenes

Howdy friends,

Are you prepping your garden and excited to grow some dahlias this year? It's hard to beat flowers from these Queens of Summer, as I like to call them. They take a little special care and attention, but it can really pay off in abundant and breath-taking beauty. I've been selling certified organic dahlia tubers from my farm for the past several years. People begin pre-ordering in November, but I still have 25 varieties of dahlia tubers in stock and ready for their permanent home. Please check out the options on my website https://www.weddingflora.com/shop-all?category=Dahlia%20Tubersand

You can place your order for immediate shipment (anywhere in the continental US) or local pick-up at the farm in Williams. Also, consider joining my mailing list when you go to the website as I'll be having some end-of-spring sales that you may not want to miss.

Happy Growing!
Stacey

These tulips are a wonderful accident. I didn’t order them, but when the wholesaler that I work with accidentally shipped them to me, after a very chaotic bulb production year in the Netherlands last year, I decided not to return them and just planted them so as to save my wholesaler for further headache. But lo and behold they are winning the hearts of many customers this year and are a happy surprise . They remind me that I want to create more opportunities for serendipity in my life…

When life is hard I turn to family, friends, meditation, Nature and flowers. It’s a good time to remember that amidst the struggles, life is renewed by these relationships and by things that raise my limbs, eyes and lips towards expressions of beauty.

Oh, and here’s a carload of flowers on their way to their new homes by way of and all of my other wonderful Spring CSA members.

About 10 years ago I planted these blush-colored flowering quince cultivars. They’ve come into their own in a big way now and are wowing us with their blooms. I can’t say enough about spreading out plantings amongst microclimates on the farm. The first blooms on quince plants in full sun finished two weeks ago but these shrubs in partial sun are just peaking now!

The best of the best. That’s how I feel about Spring flowers (I may be repeating myself, but it’s worth the redundancy). Seriously, so much color, incredible vase life, layers upon layers of petals, and so many of them smell good!

Whether you’re local to Southern Oregon or elsewhere and hungry for organically grown flowers from a farmer whose name you know (who grows those flowers at Costco and Trader Jo’s, anyways?!), I’ve got you covered. Sign up for a Spring Share of the floral abundance. Pick-up in Grants Pass, Murphy, Provolt, Williams or Jacksonville. Businesses within a half mile of downtown Grants Pass or Jacksonville receive free delivery. ***WE ALSO DO OVERNIGHT SHIPPING ANYWHERE IN THE CONTINENTAL US ***. You can sign up for a shipped subscription— 4 weeks of heaven. Click the link in my profile to sign up🌿

I’ve had some tulip heartbreaks this season— stem topple in the grow room, the greenhouse closed too long while I’m out doing deliveries, some 6-8” stems in the field because of an unusually warm winter— but these tulips right here, they’re making my heart sing. They are finishing out my indoor tulip crop strong, long and so dang pretty.

As I write, I have my front door open. Bird song and a new warmth breeze inside. I hear the tree frogs calling and the creek running with snow melt as this 75 degree day wakes us all into a new awareness. Spring is here, finally, hurray! Each season has its gifts and so far this one is bringing on prolific blooms of tulips, stock, anemones, poppies, fruit trees, daffodils and the first few ranunculus. Spring is, by far, my favorite time for farm flowers. And, that’s not to mention the wildflowers. Or maybe I will. Two words: fawn lilies. I’m glad to be alive today!

Good news. So, not only are tulips producing in abundance, but the anemones have begun and all of the daffodils are right around the corner from blooming as well. This Winter's warmer temperatures have given everything a head start at Flora Farm and, because of that, I've decided to offer a new Early Spring CSA Share. That means mixed bouquets will be available for the entire month of March, whereas in the past I haven't had them until April. I'd love to get some of these gorgeous bouquets into your hands; they were very popular at the Grants Pass Growers' Market last weekend!

It would be a joy to be growing flowers for you this Spring. Here's a link to sign up for the Spring Shares, both types (the Early and the regular Spring Share): https://www.weddingflora.com/shop-all/flower-csa-spring-share

The Spring Shares are some of my finest blooms all year—fancy parrot tulips and double daffodils, petal-rich ranunculus (late Spring), long-lasting anemones, and brilliant Iceland poppies (late Spring), among other spectacular, early-season perennials and flowering branches in mixed bouquets of flowers and foliage. Perhaps some peonies too (late Spring), if we’re lucky! These shares will be available twice: an Early Spring Share for 4 weeks will cost $75 and pick-up is available in Williams, Provolt, Murphy and Grants Pass, Tuesdays, 3/5-3/26 and again 4/2-5/7 . The regular Spring Share is for 6 weeks will cost $110 per share, with pick-up in Jacksonville on Fridays 3/8-3/29 and (then shifting to) Thursdays 4/4-5/9.

Would you enjoy fresh, local blooms weekly in your workplace or home? Purchase a share of flowers through Flora’s CSA. CSA stands for "Community Supported Agriculture” and is a vital component of today’s small-scale family flower farms. Here’s the idea of CSA’s: farmers have months of larg...
