Winter Shelter: We still need to fill several volunteer slots, mostly overnights (Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) but also Saturday morning and two shifts Tuesday and Friday morning to allow our guests to have showers at the YMCA. If you haven't yet signed up, we need you now!

O Judge of the nations, we remember before you with grateful hearts the men and women of our country who in the day of decision ventured much for the liberties we now enjoy. Grant that we may not rest until all the people of this land share the benefits of true freedom and gladly accept its disciplines. This we ask in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

“Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children, and walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God” (Ephesians 5:1-2). We’ll be walking on DoG St. at 9 a.m., meeting in front of Illy Caffé. And at noon we’ll be keeping the feast of William Temple, Archbishop of Canterbury during WWII. Here’s his Collect: “O God of light and love, you illumined your Church through the witness of your servant William Temple: Inspire us, we pray, by his teaching and example, that we may rejoice with courage, confidence, and faith in the Word made flesh, and may be led to establish that city which has justice for its foundation and love for its law; through Jesus Christ, the light of the world, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.”

Our Story

We welcome your attendance and participation at any of the worship services held at St. Martin's. Our worship services blend tradition, variety, and innovation. Every Sunday there are three services at which the Holy Eucharist is celebrated. 8:00 a.m. -- quiet, reverent service perfect for those who have grown up in the Anglican tradition or who prefer a quieter, more contemplative approach to worship. 9:15 a.m service -- a family-oriented service for all members of the church with customized features to accommodate children. 11 a.m. -- a contemporary-language service with organ, choir, traditional hymnody and rich Anglican liturgy. Wednesday Service at 12 noon Saturday Taize Service, Come and Fill Our Hearts at 5:00 p.m. Our Rite II liturgy is found in the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) and employs modern language. We also offer special liturgies for selected feast days and during Holy Week. Eucharists are also celebrated on Christmas Eve, Easter and All Saints’ Day.
