A day in the life of a flower farmer…planting tulips by flashlight. 🔦 We have a slight chance of rain in the morning so I wanted to get as many of the tulips in the ground tonight as possible so the good Lord could water them 🌧️. I put 1,000 in tonight and have about 250 left to plant but they will have to wait for another day. 🌷

And yes, there are flowers 👻
The hummingbird spends its evenings amongst what’s left of the backyard garden. 🥰
Just a light little rain shower
Finally some rain!!!!
Fresh out of the shower after a hot day in the field. Happy to report it’s raining at the house and according to the radar, it is raining at the field as well ☔️. Hoping for more overnight 💕
Thank you God for blessing us with this beautiful rainfall!!!

Today I am thankful for the rain. The water from the hose does the job but nothing compares to God’s water.

Fun fact: It takes 2 hours to water the field and the garden beds. 😅
It was wonderful to hear the rain falling in the wee hours of the morning. If we could get a good soaking rain every 2-3 days, I’d be one happy flower farmer with a very happy field of flowers 🌸
