Our very first charcuterie design class was an overwhelming success!! We were blessed with a room packed with beautiful people enjoying each other's company, wine tasting paired with gourmet charcuterie while creating some beautiful boards! Such a great time at DiMatteo Vineyards!!

Charcuterie has been all the rage right now! And we love it!
So...what makes us so different anyway?!!
Here's something we want you to know!
We don't just love the amazing imported meats and cheeses that we are blessed to have access to, but creating and putting heart and soul into the actual display boards.. and most importantly the story that goes into them.. There is a special connection that happens when friends and families gather around our boards..
Here's the story behind Come To The Table and why we do what we do for you!
Charcuterie (pronounced "shahr-ku-tuh-ree") is a French term and is the art of preparing and assembling cured meats and other meat products. The menu can also include, Cheeses, Olives, Nuts, Dried Fruit, Crackers or Baguette Bread, Jelly or Jam as well as anything else your imagination can conjure!!

The Charcuterie Board serves as the center piece of these artistic culinary displays. Every board and bowl are made from live edge wood.
This means that each piece of wood used is hand milled from a tree that either came down from a storm or its owner wanted it to be passed on in a different form.
When Come to The Table acquires the wood it is still green or wet and still has its bark.
The wood then requires drying time.
A long time!
For approximately one year the wood starts to change. It slowly and naturally loses its moisture and so starts its transformation.

We then carefully examine each slab and decide what it will become. We look for special grain patterns and colors. Each species of wood is so different. Each board or bowl is hand milled and sanded until it's as smooth as silk. Every grain and color of the wood just pops with brilliance. The inner workings of that tree, unseen for maybe 100 years is now available for you to see and enjoy.
This is where your story begins. You see, gathering around a charcuterie board with family and friends, help to create the memories we hold onto for a lifetime!

Come To The Table Charcuterie was part of an amazing Grande Mandarini aged provolone cheese cutting event. We were treated with amazing calabrese style food and drink by Italian Affair restaurant in Glassboro. Sapori Calabresi was there with their outstanding Meats! These two will definitely be part of Come to the Tables next displays. Give us a call to set up your next event!

You may already know we used some of the finest meats and cheeses to wow your guests! But now ask us about a salami upgrade to super duper wow your guests.. both of these will not disappoint. @ $30 and @ $50 per lb. A 1/4 or 1/2 lb is all you need. Delicious! 😋
