A message from Joe Delozier, our Missions & Mobilization Pastor!

This past Saturday, October 26th, seven of our Eastern Hills church family went up to Niagara Falls to help clean out the community garden for Lighthouse Women and Children Ministries.

This garden, which was started four years ago, provides a source of fresh produce each year for families in the local community.

As the growing season ended, we replaced all the wood framing for the raised beds and added fresh compost to reinvigorate the soil for the growing season next spring.

It is always a privilege to come alongside others to leave an imprint that represents the Kingdom of God well.

P.S. Consider saving the date of May 17, 2025, when we return to fill the beds with a variety of vegetable plants to help serve the community once again.

A message from our Women’s Ministry and Groups Director, Nancy Carmichael:

So grateful for the way Jesus showed up for the ladies of EH Church and beyond, at our first ever Captivating Core retreat, at LeTourneau Christian Center on Canandaigua Lake this weekend!

The theme was all about the recovery of our hearts by Jesus, and the revealing of His heart toward us.

We worshiped. We played. We took in unbelievable sights. We ate. A lot 😊.

And best of all, we welcomed one new member into the family of God, as one of our retreaters prayed to receive the gift of salvation. 🙌🎉🥳

Our hearts are FULL!

This weekend was our Missions and Mobilization festival. It was our opportunity, as the Body of Christ, to recognize and support our missionaries and ministry partners around Western New York, and around the world.

We were honored and blessed to hear from Matt Aukerman who served with his family in Albania for 18 years. We were grateful to host a dinner Saturday evening where we heard a testimony from our own Kelly Patterson who served with Joni and friends in Uganda.

At both services, we were able gather around our partners and pray for them as they are on the front lines serving our Lord and making a positive impact in our communities.

That’s a wrap! The Unshaken conference was held at Eastern Hills Church today. A giant thank you to Alisa Childers, Natasha Crain and Frank Turek for bringing solid discussions about faith and Apologetics. We also want to give a shout out to the team at Harvest House Publishers for coordinating and organizing such an impactful event. 🔥🙌🏼

We had a great time at our annual Men’s Steakout! There was food, fellowship, and worship as usual. Then, we used the rest of the time to have a good discussion on culture, faith, and politics given the state of the world right now leading up to the election. Eastern Hills Family and Friends,
The weather has caused some challenges in getting our parking lots sealed and striped. When you arrive on Saturday the 10th or Sunday the 11th, you will find the center driveway and two lots on the west side of the front (toward Greiner) to be blocked off. Even though they are sealed and striped, please respect the cones and DO NOT drive on those lots. The two lots in the front closest to Anfield Road are usable, and the entire back is usable. Thanks ahead of time for your cooperation. We want this seal job to last and therefore we must let is cure for a couple days.
The back lot will be sealed this coming Monday and Tuesday (weather permitting) and all the lots will be available for the Rock the Block Party this coming Friday.
