CHILDREN DO NOT QUIT KUNG FU, PARENTS DO.
If you want your child to obtain life skills like discipline, focus, respect, self-confidence, and a non-quitting spirit, then you the parent must lead by example and commit to help them through their journey and not give up.
Too many times parents let their kids quit everything from sports to martial arts. If you feel there is value in the martial arts class your child is in, and like what the instructor is teaching your child, then it is up to you to keep them attending classes.

This sounds like a repeat question but I’d like to drill down a bit: What motivates you - personally - to compete in martial arts tournaments?
For myself, despite all of the other reasons that I could list, it’s a matter of Having a Martial Home.
I want there to Be this venue for future practitioners, so I work to Maintain it in the here and now.
Thoughts? Comments?

SATURDAY APRIL 22, 2023 CLEVELAND, OHIO IS CONFIRMED FOR THIS YEARS TOURNAMENT.
