Join certified Forest Therapy Guide Shawn Ramsey for a 30-min Forest Bathing Experience (also referred to as Shinrin-yoku, Forest Therapy, and Mindfulness in Nature) as she encourages you to slow your pace, open your senses to the present moment, and experience a new way of being in nature.

Forest Bathing is a wellness practice originating in Japan more than 40 years ago. Some scientifically proven benefits include reduced stress, improved mood, lower blood pressure, and a boosted immune system.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
A short mindful, relaxing walk and seated meditation in nature. Participants need not be ultra-fit but should be able to walk comfortably on uneven terrain. Most of us are feeling the pull to help our friends and neighbors impacted by Helene. 2 years ago on October 28, I was getting married in Asheville, and I know it’s a favorite place for so many. As an event venue, we are especially sensitive to the emotion attached to weddings and the planning and expense involved. So, if anyone knows of any couples whose weddings were displaced in the Asheville area, please share that Healing Green Farms is offering open dates through the end of the year FOR FREE, with proof of cancelled reservation. Gorgeous morning in the rose garden today, cutting fresh roses for today’s bride! Parts of this venue ownership gig definitely make my heart sparkle, and this is one! Check out the dew on this perfect, red Mr. Lincoln, giving a velvet effect. . .so much beauty!

Here’s your #oldbarn update, friends!! So fun to watch all that 2GEN Builders are accomplishing on this project. At first I was just hopeful they could keep it upright. But now I’m starting to think it might actually be usable again!! (No. I’m not buying a giant pig!) #oldbarns

Every weekend a new local non-profit will be featured and will receive the proceeds of the raffle basket ticket sales. If you are interested in being a vendor, click the “sign up” button above!
