Our last stop Saturday was to drop off cheesecakes for the silent auction for Joey Maples Benefit. When we were coming down the road and saw the surrounding area of land covered in cars it gave me goosebumps. Cars were parked all over. There had to be over 30 men directing cars. So many men cooking on so many smokers. The drive thru line was so long and moving quickly. The amount of volunteers was mind blowing. So organized and everything just moved right along. Then when you got inside the fellowship hall it was packed with people bidding on items. So many items donated! People eating the delicious food. Volunteers buzzing around happily helping folks. The love and fellowship just filled every area of that building and beyond. All I could think of was LOOK AT GOD!! In the times we live in right now, it sure did my heart good to see so many communities coming together to support Joey and his family. The out pouring of love was seen every where you turnned. They most certainly know to show love for their neighbors. What a wonderful community to be a part of. I can only imagine at the end of the day how full Joey and his family's hearts were. The amount of support pouring out for Joey and his family was a sight to behold that was for sure. God showed up and showed out as He always does.

Thank you so much Jordan for asking Kelly's Sunshine Cafe to cater this special baby shower you had for your friend. The moment you told me it was for an adoption I knew God had a hand in this. Being a part of adoption celebrations are always extra special because I was adopted myself.❤️ This little girl has won the lottery with all the people I meet yesterday that already love her so much. We had the honor of making the groom's cake and providing appetizers and dinner for the Bailey's tonight. Thank you to both Wendy and Candy it was wonderful working with you for both of your son/nephew's wedding events this year. You both are so kind and caring. The whole crowd was wonderful tonight. Thank you both for the kindness you continue to show myself and my staff. Means the absolute world to us. Good Morning Sweet Friend's. Many of you know Joey Maples. He is a faithful child of God, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and just an over all wonderful person. Joey has been battling cancer. The community is holding a benefit tomorrow in Joey's honor. There will be delicious plates for sale. A wonderful silent auction provide by his loving community. There will be Cheesecakes from Kelly's Sunshine Cafe to bid on, along for so many other wonderful things from local businesses. Please stop by and show some support for this kind man and his loving family.

I love the start of September. It always seems to bring new hope to me. Leaves getting ready to change and fall. Farmers busy with the fall harvest. Anticipation of cooler days and cooler nights. Big sweat shirts, boots, pumpkins, cider, mums, and the smell of fall fires. Celebrations with friends and family are right around the corner. We are gearing up for our busy season with so many celebrations we get to be a part of. ❤️ There just seems to always be a bit of excitement in the air when fall is in sight. Had the best time at my friend Wanda's son's baby shower. It was so much fun and so nice I got to actually be a guest. ❤️. The theme was "Out of This World" so I made a galaxy themed cake and cupcakes. It was so fun to make. Can't wait to meet your sweet little boy Tyler.

I am so proud of my nephew Marcos. He has special needs and he is such a bright light. When I am on the phone with his mom, he always asks is that my Beautiful Tia? He brings so much light to my heart and life. He is a special gift to all that know him. He struggles every day with things most of us take for granted and doesn't once complain about it. Now if the batteries on his game die he isn't happy about that. 🤣🤣🤣 He reminds me to live with gratitude in my heart always. If you have a special needs child that you're so proud of feel free to share them below. I would love to celebrate them too. ❤️ Sending Much Love Always! ❤️

We were blessed again this month to be able to be part of the wonderful free grocery give away at Amplify Church. This is just a fraction of the food that was donated yesterday. Thank you to Penny's Produce for the wonderful produce donations. Thank you to every one that donates and helps with this wonderful monthly event. Some of the sweetest folks you will ever meet. You continue to support Kelly's Sunshine Cafe and because of all of your support we can continue to be a small part of this large community effort in giving back to our amazing community. I have meet so many sweet and talented souls since I oppenned Kelly's Sunshine Cafe .
Jo Anne Collier is at the top of the list.
She has just put out her 1st cookbook and it is fabulous. It's like it came straight from your grandma's house.
Written with loads of love. ❤️
She has written this in a way that all level of cooks can follow it with ease. I picked mine up today and I absolutely love it already. If anyone would like one please comment below and I am sure Jo Anne would love to get you one. They are $15.00 each. She has sold out of her first batch. She has just re-ordered. Because of the schedule I have the next 2 weeks I have decided I won't be able to stock Smith's Nursery until after the 26th of November. You guys usually sell me out fast. So please come early to ensure your chances of getting the product your wanting. If you messaged me after I cut off Orders for Thanksgiving and I haven't gotten back to you yet or invoiced you. I am sorry but I just can't take any more orders. However I will Be at Benson Grove Next Weekend for The Southern Vintage Show from 9-4pm. I will have Pies, Chk Pot Pies, Cheesecake Bites, Pound Cakes, Mini Pie Bites, Chx Salad, Quiches and Pimento Cheeses. You can put all baked goods in freezer and pull them out for Thanksgiving Day.
