It was a perfect weekend in Watch Hill with Erica and Mike. The iconic Ocean House overlooking the Atlantic was a perfect backdrop for the bold blooms that enveloped the couple and their guests during each part of the day. After 16 years, Roz and Matt exchanged vows on a gorgeous, autumn day in Westerly, Rhode Island. They danced and ran along the beach, cried happy tears at just the thought of one another, and made each and every guest feel like the VIP. Hi! Hello! To our friends, old and new, welcome! We're Leanne & Adam. Since 2009, we have been documenting some of life’s most inspirational moments. Based in Nicholas Sparks country, we’ve traveled from the moss-covered oaks of the southeastern coast to the bamboo forests of Thailand and lots of places in between. As much as we enjoy discovering new locations our favorite place may just be our very own backyard.⁠

The question we get asked the most is "Do you travel?"

YES! All the time. In 2022 we filmed wedding celebrations in Martha's Vineyard (x2), Newport Beach CA, Jackson Hole WY, Winston Salem NC, Westerly RI, Atlanta, and Lake Oconee GA. We only had two weddings in our hometown of Wilmington.

Ella and Wyatt exchanged vows overlooking the intracoastal waterway at Figure 8 Island Yacht Club. They celebrated afterwards with a high energy dance party thanks to The Band Punch. It was the most fun!

January is often the time of year when we have the space to slow down, catch up, be retrospective, and make plans for the new year. We don't make resolutions per se but we do list out our dreams. Big and small. Adam's, mine, those for our business, and those for our family. We make note of specific steps to accomplish said dreams which gives them roots and a more realistic map to reaching our goals.

Adam and I never had engagement photos taken. Honestly, it totally slipped our mind as we began planning our wedding in Costa Rica. So I planned on hiring Tolbert Photography to photograph us for our one year anniversary. It was SO MUCH FUN and she is the best!

We are here to tell you right now, plan for engagement photos. And go ahead and plan on having your wedding filmmakers there to add to your wedding film!

Adam started laying out his proposal plan at Christmas. It was a long game, having a family member, on Christmas day, schedule a photo session for mid-January. As we're taking photos, my two year old nephew runs up to bring me a burgundy velvet ring box and I immediately knew what was happening. I said yes, obviously, and we headed home to change because Adam had dinner reservations for us. But it turned out he really had other plans. Our family and friends were waiting at our house to surprise me and celebrate with us on what was already one of the most memorable and special days of our life together. 🤍

The holiday season is officially the beginning of engagement season. Share your engagement story with us! 🥂

We were legally married at the courthouse in Wilmington two weeks before we flew to Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica with 30 of our best people. We love big weddings but for us, a small, destination wedding, was perfect. We spent a week in CR with family and friends and will ALWAYS hold dear that intimate time together. 🤍

When do you begin decking your halls? 🎄 More importantly, when do you begin taking them down? 😆

Like many, our tree goes up the week after Thanksgiving. A live tree because I love the added holiday experience it brings, picking out the perfect one and, of course, that fresh pine scent.

Then I take it right down the day after Christmas. Did I hear you gasp? 😆 I enjoy starting the new year off with a fresh. clean slate, which includes a non-holiday clad home. But that's just me. What about you?

Brit and Ezra found solace on Martha’s Vineyard during the height of the pandemic. In a place that compels slow living, their love for one another as well as this charming island grew. So it was no surprise then, that this is where they chose to gather their most treasured loved ones and say I do. 🤍

With thoughtful design from and Brit and Ezra’s celebration embraced the natural settings of the Vineyard in the spring, surrounding themselves and guests alike in bright, seasonal garden blooms. Their sun-kissed ceremony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean highlighted the natural beauty of this place as they exchanged their own vows, a cornerstone of the day. Encapsulating the joy, romance, and laughter of this delightful day on the Vineyard. 🌸
