Dag-nabbit, I’ve been walking on air since last week! 🥳 This is one of those days where I’m reminded of how lucky I am to have all of my beautiful couples that come into my life and give me the honor and joy of sharing in one of the most poignant parts of their love story. The universe doesn’t do this lightly 💕

One of the reasons I refer to my couples as “amazing” (besides the fact that they’re all just awesome human beings) is because everyone of them teaches me something more about love - and ultimately, a better spouse (and officiant) myself 💜

Tips when hiring your officiant:
💜 Choose a person who resonates with you.
💜 Compare apples to apples. Some officiants offer value beyond the price tag (see above!) Others may actually only put in the 20-30 minutes you see them at the ceremony. If that’s all you want, that’s absolutely fine, too!
💜 Your officiant sets the tone for your wedding day, so choose well.
💜 Book your wedding officiant once you have your venue booked.

Great tips, about wedding vendor tips 💥

Let's talk Tips —-- We get this question so much “How much should tip our vendors?”

Although giving a gratuity to your vendors is not required, unless stated in a contract; if your vendors exceed your expectations, it is always appreciated. Our standard average recommendation is 10-15% tip + it’s recommended that any gratuities you wish to give are placed in a labeled envelope (ideally in cash) and can be given to your planner to distribute to your vendors on the wedding day.

Bonus Tip: Leave your wedding vendors a 5 Star review! This is so helpful as other potential clients read reviews before choosing their vendor team.

All in a day’s work when you work in love 🤩

Lauren + Michael’s wedding photo gallery hit my inbox, and jeez Louise it’s nothing short of spectacular (stay tuned for more pics!)💜 The Oct. day was stunning, along with the magic created by their vendors to showcase their love 🤩

💥 Speaking of , as of late I can’t stress enough the importance to not delay booking your preferred pros - and that includes your officiant.
I’ve been turning away couples for popular dates and it disappoints me every time.

While not everyone thinks to book their wedding officiant a year in advance (heck, some wedding guides say to wait a couple months before hand 🤦‍♀️) ….but

💥“once you’ve secured your venue and wedding date, you should place a high priority on hiring any service which requires a specific person or group of people – planner, photographer, videographer, officiant, DJ, band, etc. – and book them as quickly as possible.

The reason for this is simple – for services that require a specific person, you are competing with every other couple getting married on your same date for the services of the top wedding professionals in your area. If you wait too long, the best vendors will be booked before you even have a chance to start looking.

In most areas, the top talent books about a year in advance for all, book your officiant as soon as you’ve booked your venue, along with your photographer, videographer, DJ, and other person-specific services. It’s much better to have your pick of the vendors you want to work with, and not just be stuck with whoever happens to still be available on your date.” -

💥 One caveat: This is my profession (and my passion), not my side hustle or some thing I do on occasion. So since I perform custom ceremonies and elopements 7 days a week, I’ve got you non-Saturday marriers, too 🙌

Beauty in bloom 🌸🤩🌸

One of the things (out of about 397 😁) I love about my wedding work is the beauty I find myself surrounded by. This lush, colorful arbor for Kendall+Taylor’s ceremony made me “Eeeeee!” just a lil bit, and I’ve been swooning ever since!

This was also my first time at and it’s an amazing venue, filled with timeless beauty, and the horses, swans, and kitties are icing in the cake!

I’m excited to experience some other “first time to officiate at” , with and coming up this year!

“Cent’Anni!” 🥂🇮🇹
We raised our glasses for a traditional Italian toast meaning “May You Live 100 Years,” during Loren + David’s ceremony, complete with Limoncello!

Loved sharing in this unity ritual with them, that included their fabulous wedding party, honoring Loren’s Italian + Croatian ties. 💜 Their love and laughter filled the air, the joy was palpable, and a beautiful wedding was had!

I married Amanda + Adam in intimate style, on a sunny October Sunday by the shore, on their favorite beach. Just love, their pups and photographer, and the light ocean breeze.
Then they had a “We Do, Pt 2” celebration on NYE, to share in their happiness with all their favorite ppl. I’m so happy they shared with me some of those beautiful photos 🤩

Carrie + Mikayla tied the knot among the beautiful beach oaks at Fort Fisher. The Nov. day was a moody, romantic grey by the shore, with pops of red taking almost taking center stage, if it wasn’t for their love 💫

Rockin’ into the New Year! 🕺🏻💫

One thing I’ve repeatedly said in 2023 - besides “you may seal your marriage with a KISS” 😁 - is “what a year it’s been!”
I knew it was gonna be big but not this BIG. I had the honor of celebrating the love of just under 100 couples (we still have a couple days if anyone wants to be my hundredth 🥳). Big weddings, microweddings, elopements, vow renewals, and a couple license signing rituals sprinkled in, with every single one of them intentional, meaningful, and joyful. Another highlight was speaking for , as part of their professional officiants education program!

In addition to my fun-loving couples, I’m thankful for the venues that include in me in their preferred vendor lists, the amazing planners who recommend me (and run a smooth wedding day ship, making things better for everyone) and all of the other passionate, professional wedding pros that I get to make magic happen with.

I’m also thankful for my ride-or-die and biggest cheerleader, aka my husband Matt 💜

So cheers to 2024 and all the amazingness we can choose to create 🥂
