As many have heard, my husband Denny and I purchased and have taken over the workings of From the Heart Rentals! My name is Jessica Bever and Emily and Brandon inspired us last year to begin working together in the wedding and event industry and we decided to start building a vintage mobile bar and lounge/pop up flower shop. When we saw that FTH was for sale, we felt it was such an amazing opportunity and not just a little bit of fate! We feel so blessed to have met them and are excited to move forward with their help this year. So a little about us! We have been married almost 24 years this June and have 4 amazing children. Malia(23) Kieran(17),Nai’a (15)and Rowan(13). We can’t forget about our grandson Theo(1) too! We have spent our life together traveling and dreaming. We’ve lived in Hawaii the last 9 years where we own Ohana Plumbing and Appliance Repair and I worked in many areas of hospitality from events, supervising and serving in fine dining to bartending. We’ve dreamed of working together serving others most of our life together! In our travels, we saw the things that really made people feel comfortable and at home, and hope to bring that to the Wilmington community and beyond! Our hope is to make every family feel a part of ours and take the stress out of planning their events and special moments. We have so much to share over the next few months as we moved forward with this new endeavor, and can’t wait to meet this amazing community!

Now that we have emailed each one of our couples, we are excited but sad to publicly introduce our new owner, Jessica . Jessica has a background in wedding planning and coordination, floral design, began a bar cart for events, and managed restaurants and bars in Hawaii. She is ready to expand into the wedding world of Wilmington, and is taking over From the Heart Rentals for us to have more family time. We are very sure that she will offer even better options in the upcoming wedding seasons. We want to ensure you that all current bookings are being honored and I will continue to work alongside Jessica during this transition in the 2023 wedding season! I think her skill is going to offer awesome add ins to our current rentals.

It has been so awesome to work in an area that is so supportive of small businesses. But, Brandyn and I moved away from our life to north because we needed more TIME. We are ready to focus on our family and home life more and help Jessica transition into running your events with the perfection and detail you deserve. THANK YOU WILMINGTON! ❤️

Ever since moving to Wilmington area, I’ve always thought was the neatest venue. If I could redo my own wedding, I think it would be here. It’s just so neat having historic downtown, but still having some touches of greenery and outdoor space. Photos like these make all the late nights and packed weekends worth it… it can be so tiring working full time and doing this part time as well.

We received an email from Hayley this week & wanted to share. “Thank you soo SOO SOO much! Everything looked like the dream inside and the sweetheart table and sofa set up were the perfect touches for our wedding day! I am so grateful that we found your company in the showcase because not only were your products gorgeous but you were so wonderful to work with.”
