The gardens are OPEN until 5pm today! It's also the last day before the holidays to shop (without the crowds) in the gift shop for unique gifts, stocking stuffers, holiday items and decor!

The gardens will be CLOSED December 23-26 & January 1 for the holidays.

Today we celebrate the birthday of Minnie Evans. She was born December 12, 1892. We honor her legacy today and every day. If you haven't seen it, please plan a visit to the Minnie Evans Sculpture Garden where local artists created pieces to honor Minnie. The centerpiece of the tribute garden is the Bottle Chapel created by local artist Virginia Wright-Frierson.

Looking for unique gifts for the nature lovers on your holiday list? The Airlie Gardens Gift Shop has gifts for all ages, and is open daily 9am-4pm through December 22nd (Airlie will be closed December 23-26 & January 1 for the holidays).

There is no admission fee to shop in the gift shop, but if you decide to tour the gardens while you're here, general admission is only $10/Adults (age 13+), $5/New Hanover County Residents & Military (with valid ID), $3/Children (ages 4-12) and free for Airlie Gardens Members.
