Two 13-year-old boys met at University of Delaware’s 91.3 WVUD in 1995, fell in love with the local music scene, and grew to create the Delaware Music History Archive. That’s right! Delaware’s music history starting 1940 is being compiled virtually to be accessible for future generations, from Duke Ellington in Wilmington to Johnny Cash at the Brandywine Raceway, to your favorite local bands from decades past. has your interview with those two boys (now men!) about the project, how it got started, and how you can contribute!

🎵 BIG NEWS! Margaret Glaspy will headline Ladybug Music Festival on Friday, May 30 in Wilmington, DE!

Glaspy's critically acclaimed Echo The Diamond album earned praise from The New York Times and Rolling Stone, with her single "Act Natural" reaching Top 20 at AAA Radio. Her raw, emotionally-charged sound blends indie rock with folk influences.

Regarding her recent EPs creative process which began while touring, Glaspy states: “I was inspired by just being around audiences and experiencing their charisma and their stories. It made me want to bring more music to them and release records closer to their inception.” Following her tour she quickly returned to the studio, acoustic guitar in hand and The Sun Doesn't Think was “born in a couple of days”. Drawing inspiration from Tom Waits, Kim Gordon, and Neil Gaiman's surrealism, she crafts sounds both familiar and uniquely refreshing.

We are so excited to add Margaret Glaspy to our list of amazing Ladybug headliners and are looking forward to bringing you another amazing evening of women in music!
