One of my favorite venues, Malachi Meadows was the scene for the wedding of Caroline Powers and Eli Alvarez. They were such fun to work with and I loved the picture table each holding a photo from their 11 year relationship! And their adorable little pup Molly was the hit of the show! She was so well behaved. That staircase! That mantle! 💖Caroline was an absolutely gorgeous bride, but she’s that way inside and out and Eli is so kind and loving to her! I wish them a long and happy life together! 💕I could not have done this without a group of awesome vendors! Thank you!

I met Jon Krangel and Juliann Igo for the first time on Friday afternoon 5/21/21. I had been talking, texting and emailing with them since November 2020 and they have trusted me to handle their wedding details for which I am truly grateful. However, having met these two and their families and friends, I feel grateful and thankful and blessed! They are truly some of the nicest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and working with. They scaled down their wedding plans like a lot of couples, due to Covid! That didn’t stop them from having a beautiful wedding and in fact, they got to share an entire week on the beach in a gorgeous house with their closest family and friends. This house, Southern Charm, is gorgeous, sleeps 50 and has a built in dance floor! This is my 2nd wedding there and I have a 3rd one in August. It is one of my favorite venues! Setting up the tables for dinner around the pool was a little questionable due to the heat, however the weather was perfect for it and I love this set up and the greenery and grasses and candles! Simple and elegant! Thank you for trusting me and for being such awesome clients and now friends Jonathan Krangel and Juliann Igo. Wishing you many, many years of love and happiness! 💖

Nattally & Tyler Croom’s wedding on May 1, 2021 was a little old fashion, a little modern and a whole lot of fun! I’ve known Tyler’s family for a few years and I knew they had raised a wonderful young man. He is quiet, polite, considerate and a hard worker. He was raised in the church and with good morals and values. I knew nothing about Nattally until we started planning their wedding. I realized quickly that she too came from the same kind of family. I didn’t meet her family until her rehearsal as they don’t live here. I immediately fell in love with them! It was obvious from the beginning that she was a daddy’s girl, but when I watched him turn around when his little girl tapped him on the shoulder I lost it! Believe me, I wasn’t the only one! And then we had to get through the daddy/daughter dance! That always gets me!
Tyler and Nattally have been together for 7 years (I think they must have been about 8 years old!). The way they look at each other is nothing but love and respect. The wedding ceremony was in their church where everyone is family. It was a beautiful and meaningful ceremony. They drove away in Tyler’s prized possession, his Camero and arrived to meet family and friends to eat, drink and party! This was another new venue for me but well worth the short drive to Hampstead! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of this and I look forward to watching what the future holds for these two awesome people.

So happy that we can finally have weddings the way they were meant to be! I have had the honor and pleasure of working with Kaitlyn and Charles for several months to help plan their beautiful wedding and reception. Their decor was all about the beach and that’s what they love and where Charles got down on one knee and asked Kaitlyn to be his wife. These two were meant to be together and are perfect for each other. Check out that Cinderella moment in the photos when he was brushing the sand off her feet and putting her shoes back on!💖👠. Thank you to all the awesome vendors and the venue was a new one for me, but I hope to get to work there again! You can’t beat that view!

I haven’t posted in a while because I don’t want to hear any negative comments about any weddings I have done. Yes, I have had several-mostly on private property owned by the couples. That is all I will say about that! I received this photo from one of my sweet couples and I am in love with it! It poured the morning of the wedding and the awesome florist decorated that gorgeous arbor in the pouring rain! Oh the things we do for our clients! 💖. The ceremony was scheduled for 4:00 and if you know me, my weddings start on time! This one however was the exception. I went into the bridal suite and told Meagan Franklin that I knew she had her heart set on getting married outside and that was exactly what we were going to do. We waited for the rain to stop and then rushed everyone out there! It started raining, but not bad! We got through the ceremony without everyone getting soaked! I will be posting more pictures of this and the other weddings, but I will hold off until later when everyone isn’t on edge about the mass gatherings. For now, I’m just going to say, Congratulations to Meagan & Tyler Franklin 💖!

This was supposed to be a very busy weekend and month for me-2 weddings, 1 post-wedding reception! One wedding was supposed to be on the beach in late March with about 12 people-ended up a day before scheduled due to beach closures and without those 12 family members! Not to mention all the rentals that have now been rescheduled! All postponed and not even sure the post-wedding reception will be rescheduled! My heart breaks for these sweet brides, their grooms and families. Many of my vendor and venue owner friends have lost a lot of money, but all have been so willing to reschedule. That’s what the wedding industry does-whatever it takes to make one of the most important days of someone’s life exactly what they have envisioned. I do this because I truly love it. It is hard work, but I love the end product and I have acquired some awesome friends along the way. I tell my brides that I will treat them as if they are my daughter and I mean that. Some I am still very close to. I want their wedding to be exactly what they want it to be and I work hard to make that happen. This is not a job to me. It’s a passion. When things happen out of anyone’s control forcing rescheduled events, it hurts! Planning what is supposed to be the happiest day of your life for a year or more and then have to postpone and reschedule months later-and not knowing for sure if this thing will be gone by then, it’s devastating! I pray this Coronavirus will soon be gone and we can all get back to our lives and our jobs and doing the things that make us happy! To my brides I say, hang in there, this too shall pass! And when it does, we will start the planning again and your day will be The Best Day Ever! 💖

Well it’s been a few days since the 10/26/19 wedding of Kelsey Beyer and Kyle Flint at Old Homestead Farms, but oh my what a beautiful wedding on a beautiful day at a gorgeous venue. This couple is so laid back and easy going that this day was pretty easy once everything was all set up. The wedding party was able to hang around and relax after the first look and photos were taken before the ceremony and boy did they have fun! Thank you to the bride and groom for choosing Every Little Detail as your day of coordinator and to all of the awesome vendors and venue for all of your help!

Today started very early for me (5:30 am). Ellen Parker was with me, but that’s mid-morning for her 🤦‍♀️)! We headed to Whiteville to set up for a post-wedding celebration for Cheryl and Joseph Chancy. They were married in her hometown in Canada in May and wanted to have a celebration in NC for her friends and church family here. Boy did she find a diamond in the rough in Columbus County(Whiteville)! The Spillway is very deceiving when you drive up. It looks like a small clubhouse type building, but when you walk in the door it’s amazing! Huge kitchen/buffet area with a stove, 2 refrigerators and a microwave. Down the hall is a very spacious reception room with stained concrete floors, old wood paneling walls and full glass garage type doors that open up to a rocking chair porch and deck overlooking the spillway. There’s even a gazebo area and a foot bridge for photos! This place is amazing and the price is incredible and includes tables and chairs! I can’t wait to set up another event at this place! Here are some of the initial photos from our first visit there and from today’s event to see how it was transformed. Cheryl and I met by chance on a wedding page and we immediately connected! She is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met and I wish her and her new hubby many, many years of love and happiness! Thanks so much Cheryl and Joseph for giving me free reign to do my thing for you! Hope you enjoyed those pumpkin Nothing Bundt Cakes! 💖

The wedding of Brittney and Alex Pink on Sat. 10/14/17 at Long Creek Farms was beautiful and in the bride's words, "my wedding was the best"! Brittney is so beautiful inside and out and Alex is a wonderful man and great provider to Brittney and their 2 beautiful children. Both families are loving and supportive to this beautiful couple. I wish them many years of love and happiness and I thank them for allowing Every Little Detail to be a part of this beautiful couple's event.
