RIMS ON THE RIVER 2022POSTPONED
Hello Friends!
Doing the RIMS show in Downtown Wilmington has always been a wonderful and unique situation. It always provides a great backdrop to our show, with all of the active businesses around us, in offering excellent options to all who attended the event to maximize the overall experience. The additional perk to the event
has been all of the exposure that has been brought to the many locally owned businesses that make up the fabric of our proud downtown community.

This year it has been announced that the City of Wilmington will begin a two block construction project, to improve infrastructure and aesthetics of North Front St.. This is the second phase of an ongoing project for our city, that was delayed by various situations that have been occurring over the last couple years. The work is sorely needed.

With the planned construction happening right in the middle of our event footprint, we have struggled with possible solutions as to the possibility of working around the construction. Considering all who participate and visit the event, we feel it would be a disservice to all of the expectations we have, as well as those who participate/visit the event, thus a decision to postpone until next year.

We refuse to sit and mope, we will take this time to start planning next year’s event to ensure a bigger and better event! We look forward to showing everyone an event that was worth waiting for!
