Growing up in Wilmington, we were shaped by the warmth of neighbors, friends, and the shared experiences of this close-knit community. As best friends since age 10, we rode our bikes down these same streets and savored Penny candy from Silver Lake Pharmacy. Today, it’s an honor to give back through DBD Florist, a family-owned and operated business that’s been proudly serving Wilmington for nearly 40 years.

The mural of Silver Lake on our shop is more than a nod to the town’s history—it’s our tribute to the stories, people, and memories that have built this town. It’s a heartfelt thank you to those who came before us and to everyone who continues to make this place special.

We hope you’ll come by to see it, and maybe share a memory of your own.
