Get out of the summer heat and join us for a free performance by the UNCW Summer Concert Band - an ensemble that includes more than 100 musicians from local high schools, universities, and the community!

This year's performance is titled Stage, Screen, and Beyond. We will perform a variety of pieces including music from Wicked, the Wizard of Oz, John Williams, Porgy and Bess, and other works that will be new to our audience. Don't miss out on this awesome annual performance!

This semester, they wrote original songs, reflected on their musical journeys, and explored what it means to teach music in all kinds of classrooms—from band to orchestra to choir to elementary and popular music. We’re excited for their future as music educators!
