🥬💜 Are you a fan of cabbage but not the smell? We've found the red variety to have a much more pleasant aroma than green, and it's prettier!

This beautiful Roasted Red Cabbage dish is our modern approach to a rustic classic, with pomegranate seeds, hazelnuts (could also substitute walnuts) and fresh mint with a Maple Vinegarette dressing.

🍝 A rustic Pappardelle Pasta we made for our Valentine's family night!

Our favorite thing about homemade pasta, other than the taste, is that the sauce absorbtion and stickiness is unmatched! Zero slippage 🤌

Pappardelle is a wide ribbon-like pasta from the Tuscany region of Italy. We prefer ours with a similar thickness to Fettuccine for our Shrimp & White Wine Cream Sauce... but you could easily thin it out to better suit a dish like Bolognese. It's all in how long you prefer to roll it, and your initial egg content. A dough roller definitely helps to stretch your dough as well! We went old school for the occasion, and taught our son to do it all by hand.

🇮🇹 Fun Fact: Our ancestry passes through both Bologna and Tuscany before it's origins in Sicily!
