The Milana Ballroom at The Amish Door Village is a Premium Wedding and Special Event Destination. Our property includes a Ballroom, Event Space, Outdoor space, Restaurant, Bakery, Market and Coffee Shop located at the doorway to Ohio’s beautiful Amish County.

The Milana Ballroom and Amish Door Village is seeking to hire a Wedding Events Manager and Coordinator to help create the most memorable day for our guests. We are looking for the individual who has wedding planning experience from day of contact, to property tours, to details, to the big day. Experience may include working at a hotel, country club, a resort, other wedding venue, etc.

To be successful the candidate will need to -
-Respond quickly and manage all wedding and special event leads from contact to contract to the big day.
-Answer questions, setup property tours and meetings
-Assist bride or groom in anything they may need during the planning stage until the special day.
-Work with the team to coordinate and manage all details of wedding or event
-Coordinate schedules of events in multiple property systems
-Willing to respond, cold call and market our beautiful property
-Work a flexible work schedule to accommodate growth goals.
-Willing to work on weekends
-Be part of setup, or tear down of events
-Be detailed oriented, and work accurately and timely

The successful candidate will need to have the following skills and qualifications -

-Minimum 1- 3 years as a Wedding and Event Manager, Coordinator or Planner
-Excellent computer, technology, and -communication skills
-Self motivator
-Strong work ethic
-Goal Driven
-Problem solving skills
-Positive Attitude
