We just would like to start this post off by saying ✨THANK YOU✨to our 2024 couples for choosing us for your wedding day. We keep up with your posts, and check in from time to time because we truly care about you as people! It’s like we all become family at the end of the day (in fact, we’ve had some grandparents ‘adopt us’ a time or two😉). The pictures posted are our favorites from the 2024 wedding year we had. Such a wonderful time to celebrate wonderful people💕

With that being said, we have a very bittersweet announcement… Rosebuds Wedding Planning will no longer accept new clients. We will honor our 2025 clients, but at this time we are choosing to focus on our families, health, and full time careers.

We have worked with some amazing vendors this past year and we wish them a very successful year! We hope you have enjoyed working with us as much as we have you.

To our families and friends: thank you for being flexible and loving on us during our very busy seasons. Your endless support did not go unnoticed. We love you from the bottom of our hearts!

That’s a wrap… Here’s to still being the dynamic duo of “Chez and Jo” and loving on our people more than they’re ready for😉

Let’s talk about your ✨bridal party✨

This is a BIG topic between couples… so here’s some tips:

1. Choose people who truly support your relationship/marriage!
2. Don’t let someone talk you into putting someone into your wedding. It is ✨YOUR✨ choice!
3. It’s okay to have an uneven wedding party. Talk to your photographer if you’re worried about how photos will look. Talk to your planner/day of coordinator for how the processional and recessional will look like within your ceremony.
4. You can have two maids of honor. You can also have two matrons of honor. There’s nothing wrong with it, because sometimes it’s hard to choose between two people!
5. It’s okay to have a big, small, or normal sized bridal party. If you do not want a bridal party that’s just as perfect. ✨At the end of the day, your wedding day is a day that is unique to you and your significant other.✨

Hey friends!!

Here’s some ✨CATERING✨ questions for you to ask your caterer prior to booking them:
1. Will they provide plates, napkins, cups, and cutlery? This could be a potential money saver!
2. Do they cook on site or do they bring the food already cooked to the venue? If they cook on site, they may need you to rent additional cooking appliances.
3. Do they have a minimum dollar amount that you HAVE to spend in order to book them as your caterer? Some do, some don’t!

We are only three dates away from being FULLY booked for 2024, with wedding inquiries already coming in for ✨2025✨

A few late night ✨winter wedding tips✨

1. Read your contracts. Musicians/DJs can place in their contract that they will not play in a space that is under 50-60 degrees. Also, your caterer could require you to have a tent and a heater if they’re serving food outside.
2. Make sure your timeline is crafted to when the sun is setting. For example: have an earlier ceremony (3:30pm-4:00pm depending on ceremony length and amount of pictures needed) so that you can get your bridal party pictures + golden hour pictures in time!
3. Be intentional with your planning. Not everyone likes cold weather, providing blankets as a gift or having heaters near by for your vendors + guests is always a great idea. Especially if it’s an outdoor wedding!

✨Happy Wednesday✨

Debating on whether or not you want to put your fur baby in your wedding?? Here’s some tips that can help with your decision☺️

1. Check with your venue to ensure that they allow animals on the premises. Some venues do not allow any animals on their property. Some do, but have rules. Make sure you have a full understanding of what their policies are.
2. Have a pet sitter lined up for after the ceremony! As much as you may want your fur baby with you, have a sitter lined up to take them home at some point during your day.
3. Make sure your animal is trained to at least sit, stay, and not jump. This way no outfits are being ruined from excitement and there are no distractions for your ceremony!
4. Lastly, the pictures are PRICELESS! This bride will always have these pictures to hold on to of her sweet girl.

We are all for the fur babies being in your wedding and will be sure to give them extra loves and head rubs🥰
