About the Owner
Hi! My name is Kellie and I opened Posy Jade Boutique in 2017 out of my dining room. I discovered Sola Wood flowers when I got engaged to my now husband. I ordered some samples and thought WOW, this is so much fun! I made a few bouquets, posted them to my personal page and all of a sudden, I got many requests to make more. From there, I started the process of opening my business. It grew quickly and from what was a side job, turned into a full-time job. I have worked with thousands of clients and especially love my first time brides (Deep breath!) and helping to decrease the stress on their big day with beautiful flowers and advice. I network with many local vendors and have a wealth of wedding knowledge. My family and I reside in Wi******er, Virginia and love our town in the Shenandoah Valley. My husband and I just added a beautiful baby boy, Asher Solomon, to our family October 2, 2018. It was a crazy 2018 and I wouldn’t change it for the world. I have a family like relationship with all my clients, your happiness is my happiness. I am a firm believer in chasing dreams and instill that in my daughter which is why I have named this boutique after her, my beautiful and sassy Autumn Jade. I have a passion for Sola flowers; what drew me to them was their beauty, and of course the fact that they last forever! No more throwing away your wedding bouquet or prom corsage, they now can be a keepsake. I am pretty flexible with custom colors and designs, if you can dream it, I will make it. I have a set number of different style bouquets that I make regularly, each one of them have been "named" by my daughter and handmade by me. I use high quality Sola flowers made with balsa wood and I also hand dye/paint them. If there are any questions, please private message me, I am always here to help! If you are new to Sola Wood flowers, here is a little information: Sola flowers are wood flowers made from soft balsa wood. All Sola flowers are handmade and in their raw state, come in a beautiful ivory cream color. I know you may be thinking wood? Really?... Yes! Even though these flowers are made of wood, they are soft and look so natural. Since each flower is handmade, no two flowers are exactly the same which makes them completely customizable in color, shape, size, etc. Also, this makes them beautiful! With the right care, Sola flowers will last a lifetime if they are properly taken care of. Please do not allow prolonged contact with any liquids, handle them carefully, and keep away from flame. They are best is a cool, dry place.
