In the U.S., it is common for high schoolers to get their senior portraits taken the summer between their junior and senior years. As Arthur is finishing up his exchange year as a high school junior, I wanted to get some portraits taken so that he'd have some memories to look back on.

Your encouragement and kindness have meant the world to me, and I want to express my heartfelt gratitude. Your support has been a constant source of strength and inspiration, and I am truly thankful for your presence in my life. Thank you for being there for me, and for your unwavering support.
Choosing the right moment to release my crowdfunding campaign has been challenging, considering the hardships we have all faced in the past year. The pandemic and subsequent inflation have disrupted and tested the very fabric of our existence, resulting in painful losses, uncertain jobs, and a diminished sense of safety.
However, amidst the adversity, there exists an undercurrent of resilience, determination, and adaptability. As businesses and individuals embrace the "new normal," we find innovative ways to bring joy to our customers and engage more deeply with our impact. As chefs, we can lead by example, purchasing seasonal, sustainable, and local ingredients and transforming them into delectable and accessible dishes. As a chef and business owner, I am committed to these principles.
